Dainelle was very professional with a friendly personality which is a plus for me😉,Clean shop and nice atmosphere. She is very knowledgeable of Sisterlocs and the process. Always available for any questions I have about my hair. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HAIR! Definitely worth the investment. I have been going to Ms. Danielle since January 2019, and I can truly say I can not wait until I receive my Sisterlocs. She has taught me so much about my hair and how to use the Decca Plus products for my hair. I have notice a change in my hair and the growth as well. In May 2019 I made a appointment to inquire about Sisterlocs, and the information she has given me and the videos I have watched. Amazing experience with my consult appointment. Ms. Branton is the consummate professional and is an expert at her Sisterlocks craft. CLIENTS BEWARE********
This salon has undergone many policy changes that causes many inconveniences including the salon's availability. I have made several adjustments to accommodate these tedious policies due to the location convenience and speed of her work. However, her attitude became worst as time went by.

She always complains about doing hair, that her hands hurt, and that she no longer wants to do hair. She always suggests that someone else can do my hair.

I had to book appointments at least three months at a time or risk not getting an appointment. I prepaid for three appointments in advance due to a change in her booking application. During our previous conversation, we discussed the change of the app., and I advised that I'm aware of and okay with the charges. After that appointment, one of my appointments was canceled without any warning or anything. Mind you, I have been seeing her for four years every 4- 6 weeks, and it has been times were we needed to reschedule, it no big deal.

The cancellation happened around three days before my next appointment, so I decided to mention it during my appointment. She then told me that she didn't remember talking about my agreement to prepay and cancel my appointment. Which didn't make sense to me because why cancel one appointment when I booked 3? Was this for personal reasons? Were you trying to accommodate another client? She didn't tell me anything other than that since she canceled my appointment, someone else booked my time slot, which I booked and paid for in advance.

Now usually, I'm very flexible when the schedule; however, since I had a trip coming up around that time, and also, I took time off from work (due to her no longer doing hair on the weekend without an extra fee or evening), I was very disappointed at the situation. Also, I had to use a week calculator to ensure that my appointment was exactly six weeks apart, or she would cancel due to "duplicate appointments," which she had done before, another new policy I didn't understand. She asked what I wanted to do. I respectfully told her how I felt and asked if I could keep my appointment. She agreed and added me back to the schedule for that time slot.

The next couple of days later, I received an email stating that since I expressed frustration with the schedule conflicts, I should no longer be a client. The amount of audacity is beyond me because why go to that extent? As a black woman, I expected the salon would be a safe space that encourages her clients to speak up for themselves without penalties; however, in my experience, this was not the case. What professional person handles a disagreement with a loyal client over email? It screams that she lacks communication skills and professionalism.
