Dirt Cheap

I’m going to say it now-this place is fantastic for young children’s items. Sure, things are scattered, boxes are worn, some items may be missing from an open box and but hey-the prices cannot cannot cannot be beat. So many good finds, and if the kids break it-was only 5.00 so you’re not kicking yourself. The employees are very nice and helpful. Plenty of items and toys and shoes with the Target logo still on the box.

I’ve been going to this location for years now! And they have come such a long way. I love how every time I go they always greet me with a “welcome to Dirt cheap!” And can now recognize who’s saying it without seeing their faces. Ashley is always so positive, friendly, and refreshing to see. Management is so awesome ! You will always see Kristy and AJ multitasking and still make the time to interact and help customers. Kim is also super attentive and has incredible customer service skills. I love Renee she makes me buy things I am not looking for but ended up “needing” without knowing. Such a wonderful team. I go basically everyday after the gym and I’ve never had a bad experience.

I have never seen the store chaotic as some of the other locations I have visited if anything I would dare say this is the most organized location I’ve seen so far and I’ve been to the ones in Alabama, Tennessee and Texas too!

Keep it up team Columbus !

UPDATE: It’s now the last remaining store in the greater Columbus, Georgia area since Dirt Cheap finally officially closed down the Phenix City, and Auburn, Alabama locations. Believe one of the key reasons was from time to time the stores looked like they had been hit with a massive level 5 tornado. If you’re a employee at this location please try to find a way to get it as neat and tidy as you possibly can. Customers shouldn’t feel unsafe when they shop in the store just because it’s looking like Florida after a record setting hurricane.

Love this place, it mostly return and overstock items. You can’t go in looking for something super specific but if you just look around you will find lots of items you need. This is a must shop store if you have kids and not a lot of money. We get 70% of our kids clothes here and 50% of ours. It’s a gold mine for toys as well.

I'm sad to see one of my favorite stores closing. It was great while it lasted. The deals were amazing. I hope to find more in other areas ;-)

Edna is hands down the best employee this store has! I shop here very often and prior today I’ve never had a cashier even acknowledge my existence. Edna is so kind, personable and a huge asset to your company. The store overall isn’t clean or organized but that’s the thrill of the store. It’s a hunt for a deal!

Today I went to the Milgen Road Dirt Cheap, as I do at least twice a week. Today business was not as usual but was very up beat ,warm and rewarding. Today the store manager Ms. Stacy was out on the floor. Spreading Holiday wishes among the customers, interacting with all. She and her floor staff was greeting and extending Holiday wishes to all that was shopping. It was military Monday but we all was included in the joy And cheers. I am a front line worker, that was tired and weary when I arrived however when I left I was praising God for a stress free moment of joy wrapped in small acts of kindness and words that lifted my spirit. All of us being a diverse group shared a much needed moment together ... without feeling the “us and them shadow”that the world has been feeling for a while. Again please pass this message on to this Store Manager for taking the time to share the joy.

Just wanted to say that Stacy at the Columbus store went way above an beyond for us. She helped us get the carts through the tricky door and then helped us get to the car with our carts during the break in rain. She is what customer service is all about! Cheers to her and the rest of the rest of the staff as they were also very nice and respectful, unlike other locations I have visited.

LOVE this store. You can really get some good steals if you look good enough. Bought 3 kids costumes for $2 total for Halloween. Also a great pre lit tree for Christmas for $8. Can't beat it. Some days they really don't have that good of stuff, just depends when you go.

Love, love,love, dirt cheap! Most people say it's unorganized but it has gotten allot better. There is a cashier by the name of Brianna whim is absolutely amazing. She is one of the few whom is knowledgeable of her prices, letters, and codes, without looking at a paper or calling someone. As long as she is there I am shopping for hours.

From SC and this was my first experience with dirt cheap. I LOVED IT!! My only complaint was some items weren't marked and some of the QRcodes wouldn't read in the app. I got a "make sure your location is correct" error message. Other than that it was a great experience.

Love love love this store super cheap. But you will have to take your time to look around but they're great finds there. Like a treasure hunt. Dont expect to run in and run out. But worth every second to me. I get email alerts that keep me current on the latest deals and sales!

Unbelievable deals. Bought a four stroke weed eater for 35.00. Took a chance for parts I could use on one I already owned. The one from Dirt Cheap ran better than one I already owned. Make sure and test anything you buy there. These are store returns and damaged goods. Wish we had one closer to where we live.

If you're lucky, you'll find what you want, otherwise you'll find something else. It takes some getting used to, but it's a great place to find something to tinker on if you like that type of DIY project.

Good finds for great prices

Don’t shop here if you don’t like clutter. The employees are always organizing and cleaning. Only time it’s ever messy is because of the shoppers! Don’t come here if you have OCD either. Only come here if you love bargain hunting. Cause it’s GOOD

Great place...great stuff...and great prices...but what I love best is the app...it has a price scan option...genius...why don't all stores have this??? Other stores have scanners in a few places...you have to search the store to find one...and then you have to hope that the one you found works (usually they don't)...and if they don't you have to hunt down an employee or what for a price check at the register...but not Dirt Cheap...you scan yourself...from the app on your phone...wherever you are in the store...no hunting down a scanner only to find it doesn't work...you know right then what the price is...Dirt Cheap you have a customer for life!!!

I love the products in this place but it is Dirt cheap. Half the items are dirty nasty looking but over all prices are not cheap on things of my intetest for them to be used and ate being sold. People forget we have Dollar Yree

If I could wish upon a star, I would wish that I could live next to Dirt Cheap. Their inventory is not trash but treasures. I bought a pair of everyday shoes for $5 and I could have bought them online for $45.
