Embers Restaurant of La Inc

I was on the way home from Missouri and I was hungry. I wanted a good set down place to eat and relax for a bit. I got a place to sit down and soon as I set down the young lady was right over getting my drink order. I looked at the menu for a minute and then I ordered. The food was hot and it didn't take as long as I thought it would take because the restaurant was packed.

Just good old comfort food. Friendly staff and customers. Good place to take a break from hunting to warm up and recharge before heading back out to the forest. :) Had the hamburger steak, onions, baked potatoe, side salad, toast and gravy for $11.99. Pictures look small but portions are huge! Had leftovers :)

Biscuit and sausage gravy, bacon, toast, hash browns. Typical breakfast and it was good. Lots of sausage gravy which isn’t typical nowadays but much appreciated! Staff was friendly and service was quick. Will certainly be back! :)

The food was excellent, without a doubt the best fried pork chops I've ever had! Service was great, our waitress kept checking on our group. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

It still has that down home feel lacking in the bigger cities.

This was my first visit to Embers, however it wont be my last. Everything was great, the fish was the best! Very relaxed atmosphere as well. We enjoyed it and I recommend it!

Service is quite fast and the food is outstanding. The employees are always pleasant and the prices are fair. No complaints at all about this modest establishment.

Excellent place to eat. If you are passing through winnfield Louisiana, wanting to eat at a mom and pop restaurant this is where you will want to eat. Places like these are few and far between. Atmosphere is excellent.

Love all the food from Ember's!! From the breakfast to dinner, it's all delicious!! Friendly waiters too. The meat on their hamburgers is huge!! Quick on call-ins too!! Very recomended!!

If you want the best food in Winn parish ember's is that place to go. And the service is awesome.

We come to Winnfield to visit my daughter and always end up at this resturant...the greatest sweet tea I've ever tasted and the hamburger steak with grilled onions is delicious...the waitresses are sweethearts...We love this place💛💛
