Jackson Street Guest House

I like to stay at a lot of bed and breakfasts on my work travels if I can get a good deal. I also like to support local businesses. The Jackson Street Guest House is one of the best places I've stayed. The room is huge and has loads of charm. Things were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Great value for the money.

You’re “Guest House “is amazingly fantastic. Thought I was in my own home back in Texas. The attention to detail (I am sure that comes from Lindy) is perfect. The history behind it was enjoyable to read and learn. I can’t believe I was so lucky to stumble on to this place when looking for lodging in Winnsboro.
I am the Technology advisor for Patterson Dental and for five years I was the National Technology Advisor for Patterson and traveled the U.S extensively (that was in my younger years)
I have stayed everywhere from the old Howard Johnsons in Thibodaux, La to the Ritz- Carlton in San Francisco. This is by far my most enjoyable lodging experience!!
I am a shower guy- but the first night after driving 6 hrs. and working at Dr Littles for 6 hours my back really hurt, so I thought what the heck I will try the spa tub. WOW was that amazing!! My bathroom at home is right now be looked at by my contractor to remove my walk-in shower and install a spa tub like yours. I’ve seen the light –no longer a shower guy.
Next the bed - usually when away from home I do not sleep well and awake with back pain. NOT here, the bed is fantastic I loved it. I have an older Temperpedic at home but yours is much better!! Would love to know what type and brand it is.
And finally the Cheese Grits (I bet also from Lindy) were amazing. I don’t eat grits but decided Sunday what the heck I’ll try them for lunch – Loved them. Cooked steak on outdoor grill Sunday night and stuffed Jalapeno peppers with some cheese grits and put them on the grill.- These were perfect _ I think I’ll take credit for this even though I stole the grits from you guys !!
Okay lastly, please don’t put chocolate candy at bed side table when I return for my next stay with my wife and another couple in the next few months - I am sure you noticed these are my weakness!!!!
I Really Had a great time ,even though I had to work most of the time ,your House made it much more pleasant.
