Crystal and her staff provided excellent service during the passing of our beloved mother Mrs. Lela Durant. This company has perfected quality service and professional attitude! I attended a service this past weekend (Pikeville, NC - Mary Collins Best) and I must say, it was first-class. Their fleet of vehicles are immaculate. I was so impressed, I snapped a couple of pictures. The staff was attentive to the needs of the family and to the request of guest. If what I experienced is their standard of care, I would recommend Matthews Family Mortuary to serve any family because they proved they have what it takes to succeed in this business.

During the toughest time in our life,losing our mother Matthews/Morrow step in and made it bearable. The family of Mrs Mary Barnes (Edwards) Best could not have been more pleased with the service Matthews/Morrow provided. From start to finish they were gracious,understanding,sympathetic,classy and followed through on everything they said they would. I cannot say enough for this company from the beginning to the end they were with my family. From the time of us planning my father funeral there were multiple calls throughout the day throughout the night regardless of what time Matthew funeral home was there. They answer every question that my family had during the grievance time and passing of my father to burial time of my father. They are a class one operation. We cannot thank Matthew funeral home enough for the generous caring and love that they show during the passing of my father it made his home going a great celebration . This funeral home is an authentic gem to have in our community. They are extremely professional, comforting and thoughtful in their services provided to grieving families. Their attention to detail and to the family was endearing because they TRULY cared about the family in their time of grief and need. Amazing service! The staff was so professional and willing to help in anyway. It felt like you were dealing with family. The facilities were very soothing and pleasant. Even when I couldn’t think they knew what I needed. My son Cory Hart was taken very good care of from beginning to end.
