H.D. Pope Funeral Home

Earlier this month, I received a recommendation to look into this funeral home for our family’s recent need and they did not disappoint. The lengths that Mr. Pope and his staff went through to make the service for our loved one extra special were truly heart touching. Everything was beautiful and done with excellence. They even streamed our service for family and friends who were unable to attend due to the COVID-19 restrictions. I wholeheartedly recommend this funeral home to anyone in need of these services. Mr. Pope and his team were excellent & very professional.

My brother-in-law James Parker died on January 9, 2022. Hunter Odom handled everything. They were very professional, kind, compassionate and caring. They made the process very tolerable. My Aunt, Thelma Grant, who was 105 had her funeral in January and people have been telling my mom and myself that the service was one of the best they had ever seen. My aunt looked natural and like she was going to church. She was a school teacher and Mr. Pope made sure my aunt had a beautiful vault with her picture and school background. Her programs were entitled the last report card. His staff did a Stella job on them also. My aunt was a seamstress and her sewing machine was displayed at the funeral. The family greatly appreciates all the special “accents.” Thanks so much for sending my aunt out in class.
