Houck Park

Awesome park! I grew up going to this park and have many memories from my toddler years to my adult years that include picnics and birthday parties. The slide is the coolest slide I have ever seen in any park. The paint and wood has been updated since I took this photo and there were security cameras installed around the pavillion. There are bathrooms, play areas, a pavilion with a fireplace, and a volleyball court that used to be a tennis court but I don't know if it's in use during winter or if it's just seasonal. It's super fun to go sledding down when it snows since it is located at the top of a hill. Bike rides are fun coming down but not so much going up. Most of the park is shaded and it's usually quiet unless there's a special event. It's a very nice park and the best one I have ever been in.
