Cinemark Tinseltown Oklahoma City and XD

We love coming to the Cinemark Tinseltown in Oklahoma City. I remember when this place first opened back in 1998. It was a major event as it was the premiere theater in the Sooner State.

They have kept with the times over the years, and it's still one of the best. Ticket prices are reasonable, and the concessions are lower than most. They serve beer, wine, and frozen drinks.

The sound in all the auditoriums is awesome, and we enjoy the heated reclining seats. The viewing experience is fantastic.

Since we are movie club members, we get a free ticket once a month and 20% off our snacks. If we don't use our free ticket, it rolls over to the next month and keeps adding up. It's just a great place to see a movie.

Now this is a movie theater with comfortable recliner seats! Loved the surprise of the heated seat. We came and saw Bob Marley One Love and it was awesome. Extremely loud, probably one of the more loud movie theater experiences I've had. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was somewhat friendly, gals working up front seemed annoyed that they'd have to be helping people get movie tickets.

Otherwise, it was a fun movie date with my hubby. Looking forward to coming back for another movie!

It has really changed in a good way. It’s upscale now and so much easier to get your tickets and food. I love the new seats especially the D box seats. It is worth the price if you want to feel the movie. I turned my up high and felt the entire movie.

We are members here and we love it. We go for date night and matinees with our 2 year old. Love their popcorn and drink selection as well. They even sell adult beverages if you are in the mood for it! We try to go once a month if we can!

Yes the crowds were coming! BUT my Cousin Ron and I were treated as Special Guest. Popcorn 🍿 with extra butter was requested, really extra butter, No Problem! Theater was clean and comfortable. A pleasant experience.

Great updated movie theater. I love the purchase ahead option for food so we don't have to wait in line. Reclining seats with heat are very nice!

This is one of the nicest movie theaters I've ever experienced. It was clean throughout and the lines for the concession stand moved quickly, a nice change from my experiences in the past couple of post-COVID years. Every employee with whom I interacted was courteous and seemed to enjoy his or her job.

Looking forward to my next visit to Tinseltown!

Love Tinseltown, it's my fave! Thanks to Kyah for helping us so kindly with our spilled drink. She has awesome customer service skills, unlike the young man behind the counter, who had a really bad day or hates his job.

Location isn’t the best, but they have definitely kept the interior up to date. Food is great, and would recommend their hot dogs for those looking for a quick meal.

1st time: loved the movie reclining chairs- more comfortable than Flix.
Matinee prices are very good- cheaper than Flix.
Full bar and concessions- Bar is less expensive than Flix and they don’t automatically put a tip on your drink tab.
Wish they would serve all their popcorn in bowls like Flix or at least buckets- the paper bags tear & two people sharing popcorn makes a mess. We will return.

Popcorn always fresh, friendly fast service, very clean with the best smelling restroom. A over all great time alone or with someone. My children loves movie night.

Collin is a fast worker & gets the job DONE! He’s so sweet & very helpful, & can work the counter alone with his eyes closed! He mad my experience great👍🏾

We love coming here! This theater is always clean and has plenty of food and snack options, including alcohol! Employees are always friendly. The seats are very comfortable. They recline and have a heating option. We wish the XD regular seats would recline more. They also have a wall in front of all the seats so no one's head is in your view.

Nothing but good things to what I call the new Tinsel. Kids working the concession are always polite and awesome on prepping your food like they'd want it 😂. Nice and clean and of course comfy. Great job!

This theatre has changed a lot since I was younger. I love coming here now. It's safe and the seating has reclining padded chairs that have a seat warmer. Some theaters have a separation between aisles so you can't see the ppl in front of you or behind you. The prices are way better than AMC and warren. The food is typical theater food - snacks, popcorn, hotdog, pizza.

Cinemark Tinseltown in Oklahoma City is definitely a good place to go see a movie. It's clean the seating is extremely comfortable and accommodating. Staff there are extremely helpful and friendly. I have plenty of buttery popcorn to satisfy that popcorn urge during your movie and a large selection of snacks to choose from.

Tinseltown is located right off of I-44 across from Remington Park. The facility is very well maintained and property clean and well cared for. The interior is very beautifully finished with many different auditoriums for movie presentation. The concession area was clean, well stocked and well staffed. The employees were friendly and helpful.

The food selection is great and reasonably priced. The seats in the theater are very comfortable. I had a fantastic experience here and highly recommend this place to friends and families for a fun outing at the movies.

I enjoy this place so much! I am actually a member and love being a part of that and enjoying its perks! They have amazing theathers, and I love their seating! Their prices aren't ridiculous either.

Went out Friday with the family and decided to watch a show here. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. I was impressed beyond belief with the seating. Comfortable, warm and cozy for a crisp, cool night on the town

It’s impossible to beat the spend quality.
Their combination of price & service is currently unmatched in the OKC Metro. When you have a family of 5, it can add up fast.

They are constantly updating their screens & projection equipment. They recently began a complete overhaul of every seat in the entire building, converting to 100% reclining theater seats. I’m hoping they don’t increase prices to pay for the upgrade…fingers crossed.

The XD Theater is a fantastic experience! While it’s not quite to the same level as an IMAX movie in an IMAX theater, it’s the best overall theater environment in which to watch a typical modern movie.

On a very personal preference note, we like the audience at Tinseltown better than any theater we’ve gone to in OKC. What I mean is this: at Tinseltown, I’ve experienced full-on applause, like at a concert, at the end of a couple movies. Comedies are laughed at…out loud.

I’ve even experienced a huge uproar of applause in the middle of a movie at Tinseltown! It was “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021) when Peter-One, Two, & Three work together at the Statue of Liberty to contain & eventually save Norman Osborn by injecting the Goblin with a cure, restoring Osborn’s sanity. It’s a trip…literally hundreds of people erupting in celebratory applause right in the middle of a flick!

Yes, we are definitely Tinseltown fans.😁
