Nice park! We did a 5K here and the trails are wonderful. Parking can be tough so I recommend coming early if it’s a weekend. Very dog friendly and a lake view. Bathrooms are portapotties.

I fell in love with this park! The skating side was pretty decent too. The park offers a stunning view of Hefner Lake, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a beautiful sunset. Unfortunately, the restrooms were closed during my visit. However, there are covered areas for grilling enthusiasts, along with additional open grills. Additionally, there's a small basketball court available. While some areas could benefit from repaving, overall, my wife, kids, and I had an amazing time at the park.

We absolutely loved this park! There were lots of friendly kids for my toddler to play with. It has beautiful views and ducks. It’s gorgeous at sunset. There are a lot of areas for the kids to play on that range from toddlers to older kids. There’s also a pretty big slide here. Our three year old loved it. I’ve never been to a playground/park with such pretty views.

These are aerial photos taken from Stars and Stripes Park. It has great views at certain times of the year. The park is cool and there are plenty of benches and tables and other recreational items like volleyball and basketball.

Great park to visit. It has fitness court, skate park, playground and basketball court. Also there a places for picnics and bbq. You can get pretty good views of the lake with the telescope.

Just a short 1 mile bike ride from home and so much to do. If you like walking, running, jogging, biking, boating, fishing, dog walking, skateboarding, exercising, or feeding birds and ducks, it's all here. New fitness court and skate park are positives. Love this place! Good vibes and great water views.

There are many features to Stars and Stripes park. Firstly, there are multiple large playground equipment pieces. They are suited to various ranges of children 2-12. The park uses those wood chips as "impact material" so no sand. There are also 6 swings and 2 baby swings. So for a playground, it is well stocked.
There is ample parking as well as handicapped parking and access. Binges provide lots of seating for supervising the children as well as stopping along the sidewalk. There are public bathrooms in the brick pavilion as well as multiple porta-potties. There are many concrete picnic tables and grills. The pavilion is covered, and there are a couple other covered picnic tables also. There are lights spread throughout the park.
Aside from the playground equipment, there is also a basketball half-court. They installed a fitness section which has built-in equipment to do various exercises such as lunges, box jumps, speed drills, and pushing and pulling exercises. They have also added a skate park, with a large bowl and a few ramps, stairs, and railings.

Beautiful park with nice amenities. The water is beautiful, there were a ton of birds, but interestingly enough not a lot of bird poo all over the place. I didn't use the trail which circumvents the lake, but I've heard plenty of great things about it. Very active with picnics, kids playing, kayaking, cycling, running, fishing and people skateboarding all very respectful of each other. I'll definitely be coming around here again.

Stars and Stripes park is excellent. The is beside the lake Hefner. You can see the beautiful sunset from the lake shore. There is play ground for kids, shelter for picnic, bench, and bbq grill spot. It is a nice place for walking or running. There are lots of ducks in this park, kids will definitely love that. There is also fishing points to catch bass, walleye, catfish, crappie and others.

We always have a wonderful time here. I pick a spot a set up. I cook, grill, drink sodas a chill. My kids and grandkids simply love it

Great place to go by yourself, with a loved one, with your kids/grandkids to sit, walk/walk your dog, ride your bike while enjoying the beautiful views of the water. You can fish, watch people do a little boating to even jet skiing! Many walk & bike trails & even two nice kiddie playgrounds, baseball park & now a skateboard rink to do your tricks. (Minus Occassional geese poop you gotta watch out 4 when they come in its plesent anytime of the day and evening)

First day visiting love it so far.Best playgrounds for kids and dogs good long trails for scooters and bikes by river.chill space under trees.

This is preety nice for park along with the lake. There is a kids paly grounds. A very nice place for spending family time. I found the park the park is very windy, so be prepared for that. I would say it is also very nice palce to have your work out. The palce is very soonthing as you go closser to water. There is picnic spot and a lot of free paking.

It's a great place. They have workout stations, skateboard park. Not what it used to be like when I was a kid but still good place. It does have some weirdos tho so guys watch out you probably getting checked out. Ok if your in to it but if not don't let it ruin your time.

Stars and Stripes Park at Lake Hefner is a wonderful place to go for outdoor activities. There are plenty of BBQ grills and tables, a large playground, walking trails and volleyball nets. We usually go in the evening to BBQ and walk on the trails. The trails are paved, which is great for persons using a cane or wheelchair. Family friendly. Wonderful photo opportunities and even a lot of "birdie conventions"!

Whether just driving around or getting out to walk it's always a great escape. The lake provides an amazing backdrop for any type of photo even during a rainy day.

Great park. Great trails and even a workout area. Lovely views and great picnic place for plenty of people. Great location. Love that park.

Went to the skatepark for the first time! Loved it! Nothing like skating, feeling the cool breeze roll in across the lake, and seeing the scenery.
