Ichibar Japanese Restaurant

We were pleasantly surprised at this little place. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was wonderful. We received our food in minutes after we ordered and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. We ordered the fried dumplings and a hibachi chicken and steak combo. There’s a shortage of restaurants around this area so we were super excited to try them out and realize how good everything was. We will definitely come back soon.

Went to meet up with a friend... stayed 5 hours. The wait staff were patient and friendly... didn't rush us, but checked-in periodically. The food was good, a usual!

Everyone at Ichibar has always been super nice and attentive. I have never had anything bad there. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I can't hardly ever go to Henderson without going here for either a take out meal or sushi if I'm in a rush. If not, a sit down slow down my day a little and relax and have a wonderful meal is the ticket! I am never disappointed with any of the food and b I have been eating here since they opened. Talking about it now makes me want to go and get some.
Me only complaint would be having to pay extra for the special sauce that you get with the hibachi. It comes with 2. It should come with 4 or maybe they could get the bigger condiment cups and then only serve 2 before charging .50 extra.

O my God I love you this restaurant today was my brother's birthday and we asked if they did birthdays they said we used to and of course we said it's ok thank you 5 minutes later they come with cheesecake and also couple mins later comes kind dude ask if he's allowed to have soda a they come and give his two japanese sodas and there food was delicious and they checked ob us like every 5 - 7 mins great service and food love this place.

Very kind service I love their restaurant so much Their sushi is so good 👍 and they have decent prices for such great plates and their sides are sooo good 😊 I'm very happy with what they have also I mean most restaurants ignore like babies talking and walk away these people talked to my baby brother! I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT I wish I could give it a 100 than a five. Guaranteed everything 💯 so great to love this place again and looking for a Japanese restaurant to come here is where you come.

People that don't give good ratings are either miserable or genuinely just paid actors. The food is good and the people are nice. Don't believe any bad review. Just go for yourself and see 😅

We have had dinner here a number of times recently and love the food. Service is usually OK, this past Friday it was not! One meal came out several minutes before two others. We eventually agreed to eat and had finished before my husband's came out. The moral of the story? Avoid busy times!

The Sushi chef is simply amazing! Skilled, handsome, and a king in his profession. I bought $57 worth of sushi and it was worth its weight in gold!
Unfortunately I was charged extra for a salad which came with the sushi/shashimi deluxe- but I didn’t see the charge until I was home. I assume the new check out girl made the error. I’d rather have spent that $3.95 on more sushi!
Still- while I’d love to be given a credit at Ichibar, I’m over 30 minutes away and having sushi is something I only do for myself a few times a year.
The sushi is amazing, as is the chef. I’m so glad I only live 30 miles from this place! People in Henderson are more blessed than they think!!!!

Really starting to love this place for the sushi cravings…used to make the drive to Raleigh or wake forest, but increasingly we just pop in here, locally. Although reviews are mixed for consistency, they seem to get better each time lately, have really friendly staff, and good food in an unpretentious environment/fair price. My only beef is no eel on the sushi boat, but whatever. Can’t win them all. Keep up the good work and we will definitely keep coming.

Sushi is always great 👍 but they have gotten new staff. I tipped cash and then noticed on my receipt I was also charged for a tip on my card. It was only a takeout order for a three roll special. 🤨 very disappointed, wouldn't have tipped cash had I know they were going to add their OWN TIP

This place has been so much better the past few times I have been! Service is quick and awesome. The hibachi has gotten ALOT better with fresher ingredients! The sushi is what surprised me the most. It was so much fresher than I would have thought and tasted fantastic! Definitely recommend.

From upon arrival staff was very friendly. My waitress was AWESOME!! And My lunch was just AMAZING!! Will definitely return another day.
