Stith-Talbert Park

I love this park. I literally grew up coming here. I go quite often just to sit and enjoy the fresh air and enjoy piece, quiet, and nature. It has the playground for the kids to enjoy with a covered gazebo for lunch, picnics, or just to rest. A full basketball court is across the street and a fishing pier is at the park if you wanna just go fishing. I love it. The Rocky Mount Trail also runs through the park connecting you to other parks and attractions throughout the city. It's a pieceful play to enjoy yourself.

Came out and ate pizza with a friend. Very clean and peaceful. If you walk around to the bridge..Water was super low. Didn't see any fish, turtle or anything this trip. Normally we spec out a creature. Didn't stay long because I was too full to to fight against gravity.

Its a hidden jewel! My kids and I go there all the time its hardly ever anyone there and with the pandemic still not being under control that's Great.

Clean and usually not crowded. My dog loves it there too!
