Such a wonderful experience medically. Especially compared to the death trap commonly known as sequatchie county. Dr. Mark Pollard was the physical on call for my visit. I could not ask for a doctor more in tune to my needs or staph with better bedside manner.

I was very pleased with last night's experience actually... Last night someone hit the car that I was sitting in caring for my close friends 8 month old lil girl at a very high speed all I can remember was the initial jolt from the impact , and being forced across 2 parking spaces and when I heard the baby scream out I lost it. Long story short I was taken to Rhea Medical Center for exrays and I have to say they worked harder and we're more thorough then I've seen in all my 43 yrs as a local resident!

New to the area, my husband was there due to covid on a slow day. They took decent care of him, but it was hard to get a nurse at one point, which was a little scary. Staff was very friendly and when he left, were very adamant that he call them if he needed anything.

Broken wrist September 2022. Visibly Broken wrist. Rhea County Medical staff wouldn't give me anything for the pain and cast it "as is" in the broken position, with an appointment for surgery in 8 days, where they would have to break it again to fix it. The pain factor and prior training told me that it should be pulled back into place with a splint to hold it. I went to Erlanger ER in Chattanooga the next day after swelling and bruising was painfully obvious to all. They put my arm in traction, and we heard the bone pop into place finally. I wouldn't go to Rhea County Medical for help. Don't go there!

9:30pm I'm having a heart attack and in extreme pain. Check-in clerk plays around on the computer. 15 minutes later I told him I need help NOW. They take me in the back and do an EKG and blood work. They come back and tell me they can't find anything and don't offer me any relief of the pain that I never experienced before. I remind them my throat, chest and arms hurt extremely bad and I need help. They do a second EKG and more blood work. Finally at 4am they said I was having a heart attack and gave me some morphine. Six and a half hours for some help. Crazy. Then they couldn't find a hospital to send me to. Finally they found a room at St. Thomas West in Nashville. About 8am I finally got an ambulance ride to Nashville where they rushed me into the Cath lab and I got a stent. St. Thomas West absolutely great. RMC absolutely horrible.
