Bluff Creek Park

The mtb trail is far bigger than 4 miles. Closer to 8 miles. I'd say half is easy single track but the creek area is harder.

Lovely trails and area. Very enjoyable and wasn’t too busy when we went.

This is a nice park to walk/ run. Smooth surfaces. I'm not a mountain bike, but it looks like good trails. I only bring my ID with me. History of cars being broken into. I park near the playground where there is always lots of activity.

An oasis in the city. Enough trees and water to drown out the noise and give you the illusion of being alone in the woods - even when the parking lot is full. Be mindful of bikers on the dirt trails - they ain’t messin around

This place is horrible, don’t go! Just kidding - super mountain bike trail!! We just moved here and were amazed at how well maintained and the length of track available. My son and I had a blast, so happy to love only a few miles away. Be aware, I could have sworn the sign says the trail
Is 4 miles, but there’s over 10 back there. Should keep you busy for a hot minute! Watch out for ticks!

Nice open space right at the foot of Lake Hefner with pavilions that you can rent if you have a big group gathering. There are charcoal grill for a cookout and open field for a casual game of kick ball or football. There are trails that one can explore on foot or bicycle. I see people walking their dogs too.

This place is fantastic for family walks, workouts, and mountain bikers. There are some serious mountain biking - ONLY trails that are for advanced riders only. Along the walking trail there are designated workout stations with signs that have suggested workouts and equipment.

I do not recommend bringing dogs that are not well behaved, good around others people (including small children), and other dogs of all breeds. Bluff Creek Park is a beautiful gem that’s worth the drive even if you live on the other side of the city.

There are barbecue grills and picnic tables (though very limited, and a first come basis) with a shelter houses - 2-3 shelters total I believe)). The only con is the awful port-a-potty. It was terribly smelly and there wasn’t any hand sanitizer or hand washing station of any sort.

Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Bluff Creek Park. It’s a wonderful place to escape the city chaos, even though it’s tucked in the the middle of it all. It’s so beautiful and very well kept.

Finally, it’s open to the public and free for everyone. Be sure to bring sunscreen and lots of water 💧. Have fun ;0)

We had a great time going to the park today! We brought our dog who thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Everyone we ran into was so friendly and kind! There are different trails to take with marked distances, but no maps throughout the park. Only near the exits.

This is one my favorite places to visit in the city. This park has it all: playground equipment, huge open fields, manicured gardens, paved walking paths, picnic tables, and a top notch mountain bike trail. One of the more unique features is there is a water plant in close proximity to Bluff Creek Park and is a kind of safe habitat for deer. So don't be surprised when you're visiting if you see one or two deer, or the whole family.

Nice wide paved trails. Water and Porta potty. I really enjoy the way you can adjust the length of your walk during your walk. Easy to cut back to the start and go another half or full loop. Best of all, the trails have lots of tree cover and the wind is well blocked. My son-in-law and grandkids like the off-road bike tails. Plenty of room on the fields for a Frisbee toss or sports practice.

This park is great for walkers, runners, bicycles, dog walking, etc. Very clean, well maintained, as long as people pick up after their pets.

Beautiful park with very clean and well maintained paved trails. Wide paths. Fitness area through the park as well.

I told my son we wouldn't see any wildlife because there were too many people. Then there was a Doe!! Had a great time. He counted 15 dogs.

Nice native species landscaping at the entrance with labels for each plant, and I have never seen so many butterflies in one place, except maybe the sunflower patch at Lake Hefner that was full of swallowtails last summer. It was a beautiful thing. Both places are.

A great place to get some fresh air. Walking the bike trails with the pup definitely makes it more entertaining. Highly recommended!

Nice park! There are pavilions for gatherings, a playground and numerous hiking/biking trails. Very natural aesthetics and feel to the park.

Top tier park. Large grass field on one side, meadow on the other. Wetlands on the end. Lots of hiking and mountain biking trails. Picnic tables. Pavilions (shade/awnings). Barbecues. Playgrounds. Benches. Pet stations. Trash cans. Has it all.
