MILLTOWN EATERY & SALOON

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful surprise. Home cooked meatloaf, green beans and mashed potatoes!! Freshly made pork skins as an appetizer. This should've been a Sunday evening after church meal. Just delicious. Our waitress was in point to, very knowledgeable and caring that our meal was correct. Definitely will return.

If you want the special you better get there early. They always do their best even when under staffed. Have patience and order another drink.

Good food & the owner's care about their guests. If you're in milton, it's a great place to grab a drink after work and Tink about it. If you know, you know.

It's not a fancy place either, they have daily specials and love their locals, but are always friendly to us when we're in the area, which isn't as often as I'd like

This place literally saved us after a disaster at the Rock fest! After being trapped for hours in a hail and lightning storm, walking more than an hour to try and get back to our car, this place stayed open late for others who were stranded by the storm! The staff was all super helpful in us finding our way back and even tried to find us a ride. If I have time again this weekend I am definitely going back. Also the pizza was very delicious. 10/10 service here

Always love to visit Milltown Eatery, the food is great and the service is friendly and capable. They've always been super accommodating for my brother with special needs. He's a picky eater, but we are confident he will eat here!

What a wonderful place. Friendly atmosphere, excellent food, and a casual but attractive atmosphere. The prime rib and catfish were cooked to perfection. My husband said he had never had baked catfish and was impressed with the taste and homemade tartar sauce. I have had prime rib twice the price and half as good. Cooked perfectly and so tender. Didn’t try desserts because we were stuffed. Portions are very generous. We will be back!

Great home cooking. Wonderful. Everything is homemade. They make you feel right at home.

This is a locals place. The cooking is like you get at home, simple but delicious. The buffet is $20. It's small but worth it. Instead of tons of options, you get better food. There were 8 veggies and 5 meats. The meats were brisket (yes, real brisket at a buffet), BBQ chicken, pork loin, and roast beef. When the brisket eventually ran out they replaced it with meatloaf.

They use metal cutlery but paper plates so if this bothers you, you're too pretentious and do not understand true home style cooking and eating. Get over it and go to Milltown Eatery.

One last thing. They do have 3 menu options per night. These change so call ahead if it's important to you.

Ok, one more last thing. We went on a Thursday. Before the place closed, one of the owners was showing diners the MASSIVE cowboy steaks on the menu for the next evening. The other two options were going to be scallops and fish. 👌

The staff will make you feel like you are their most important customer even if it's you first time visiting. They have a nice selection of draft beers. Last time I went got a Buffalo chicken flat bread and loved it. Will be back soon...

My wife had the ribs and l had the prime rib. Both were great. The sides very good also. We had coconut cake for dessert. It moist and delicious. The service was extremely friendly and great.

Delicious dinner there the other night. It was Italian night. I had the manicotti and it was the absolute best I've ever had! Little disappointed there were no desserts but hope to try those on rib night next week! Definitely going back!
Update...been back a few times now ... everything I have had there is delicious ... the cakes will melt in your mouth ... hope to catch prime rib night real soon!

I was here recently and the food is delicious and the ambiance is charming. The breads are all made in house and the chicken salad sandwich on a homemade croissant was superb. That was the best croissant I have ever eaten. Will go here again.

Food is amazing!!!! Bar has a good selection of domestic and craft beers and the staff is second to none helpful with menu items and on time with refills

Milton Bakery is literally the best place to go eat!! It beats anywhere in Danville or Roxboro. The owners Alex and Anthony are amazing and Penny is so spot-on! The ambiance is just as amazing as the food & I will absolutely be here every week! If you don’t go here you will be sorry!!!!!

We were unable to go in person tonight, but we did get the prime rib takeout and it was delicious! Very tender, juicy and cooked exactly like we ordered! ❤

The food was absolutely amazing! That fresh apply cake...WOW! The service is outstanding! The owners are a joy to be around!! I can not wait to go back!

First time here. Nice atmosphere and a good place to get a drink and be with friends. Daily specials change but they always post their specials on Facebook.

Best prime rib I ever had. Everything was outstanding. If you haven’t eaten here you don’t know what you’re missing.
