City Lake Park

Lovely little park with a paved path around the small lake (1/2 mile loop). Sculpted statues, wildlife, and old trees add to the peacefulness here. Park benches are scattered around, in addition to a couple overlooks and a gazebo with benches make it nice to have a little rest or quiet spot for a snack. Bring some quarters to get feed for the ducks and geese. Minimal littering.

Love to come here with my 1 year old daughter. She mimicks the ducks. Love to feed the ducks. Could be a bit more cleaner especially under the little island gazebo. Lots of spider webs everywhere under there.

One of my favorite spots in NC to relax after a long drive Friday m NYC. Peaceful, folks are quick to greet each other and gave me bit of history regarding Rocky Mount

Great spot to relax around the lake. You can fish, feed the ducks, chill on one of the benches or picnic under one of the beautiful shaded trees. Many come to walk the trail around the water.

City lake place to go to get a good walk in pretty view and awesome track awesome water lake with fish to catch and ducks to feed all your old bread to take the kids out take your family out take your girl out to the gazebo and have a little special time steal a kiss win her heart and get her to say yes to that big question you have been waiting to ask and this place will change your life with it's captive stunning decks to walk out over the water and you can even drive around this place guys it's jus grate place for everyday fun being there since 19?? Lol come all and enjoy

Love this place and the scenery.😍 love being able to feed the ducks. Great for kids with alot of energy. Will definitely recommend this place.

It was wonderful. Had lunch with my daughter. Sat in front of the lake and enjoyed the view along with the nice breeze that was blowing, for a change, instead of a sultry hot and humid day. Just wanted to sit there and enjoy the peace and quiet. People were walking about and enjoying the day as well. Children were enjoying the day with their parents. It was good to see children happy and playful. It was also enjoyable to see parents taking the time to spend with their children, family and friends.
