Embarrassed to reveal this was my first visit. In a word, stunning. I only posted a few photos, but there are 3 floors of artwork to view. I highly recommend, a great activity to soothe rampant boredom, learn about art, and get some exercise. One really great tip we got from the front desk, start on the 3rd floor and work your way down. Use the stairs if you can, it's a gorgeous walk down.

It was really great experience! OKMOA offers free tickets (includes Chihuly exhibition) on the second Sunday of every month. The exhibitions divided perfectly, and not too crowded. Recommend for family, couple dating, even visiting alone. There is a free parking place just behind the museum!

Lovely museum! Not large, but exquisite exhibits, including the Chihuly glass exhibit.

The library has a free pass for up to 5 people if you have a library card! 😊

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and my experience was well enough for someone that does not particularly enjoy art museums. The museum's overall diverse collection spans various art forms, but what truly stood out for me was the remarkable glass art exhibits, especially the exquisite sand-carved glass pieces.

At the entrance, my eyes immediately fixated on an extremely tall glass structure. Our primary purpose for getting tickets was to see the “Preston Singletary: Raven and the Box of Daylight” exhibition. The multisensory experience of lights, colors, sounds, and intricately carved sculptures added a layer of depth and beauty to each piece, creating a mesmerizing visual experience.

Lastly, I did not have any children with me, but loved the various inclusive activities for young art museum goers.

The glass art is so pretty! The museum had 2 sections closed off the time I went, they also offer student and military discount. The building was kept cleaned, and all the glass art are monitored. In addition, parking was also easy to find.

What a treasure for Oklahoma City! From the Chihuly exhibit as you come in to the rotating guest exhibits there's always beautiful art to be seen. They have redone the gift shop that seems bigger and brighter now and has a coffee bar with desserts from Ganache so make sure you check it out on the east side of the building.

This museum was beautiful especially the blown glass sculptures. Not very pocket friendly however there are discounts for service members and the senior citizens. Bring a a light sweater it's a tad chilly. They also had these awsome bags to help the littlest visitors have a good time. The gift shop down the hall on the first floor was pretty awesome and there is a little Cafe inside as well.

Sara in the private events office was a joy to work with! She made it easy to understand how to get in and up to the event space on the rooftop. We have worked in OKC as DJs for 15 years and finally got a chance to work at OKCMOA and it did not disappoint! 5 Stars!

They have some remodeling in process but I got some good views there. They gave discounts for students with IDs and free access for Bank of America members. I have some pictures so you can see it. It looks better in person. Some look different from the human eye compared to the camera

My family visited the art museum while we were in town for an NBA game. I appreciated that they offered a military discount. The exhibits were phenomenal. I was a little concerned that my sons would be bored, but the museum offers discovery packs for kiddos to use to explore and learn about the art. My seven year old really enjoyed this. It made our experience so much more enjoyable and kept the kids engaged and excited. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Got the chance to see the amazing glass art by Chihuly. The museum has 3 floors for art so it can host multiple exhibitions. There is an entry fee for the museum but it's for all 3 floors. The store on the first floor has a small cafe and many art and quirky items for sale. Photos are allowed but no flash. It was a very calming experience.

We took advantage of the Spring Break 2023 free admission! Kids under 17 are always free with an adult. Check the Metro Family Magazine for the discount code! My two kids (age 11 & 14) enjoyed the exhibits. They had craft activities geared for younger kids. There is an elevator and exhibits are ADA accessible. There is a cafe on the 1st floor with the MOA Store, but could not guarantee cross-contamination for food allergies, so we didn’t grab anything to eat. The “Arts Garage” nearby had the cheapest parking at $2/hour. It was enjoyable for all of us!
