Stumbled upon Nu Way, the hole-in-the-wall bar, and let me tell you, it's like finding a secret society for lovers of questionable decor and unforgettable stories. The exterior is so inconspicuous; I almost walked past it, thinking it was an undercover operation for the Fun Police.

Inside Nu Way, I felt like I entered a time machine set to "retro chic meets quirky chaos." The furniture seemed to have survived one too many happy hours, and the jukebox played music like it was auditioning for a nostalgic sitcom soundtrack. I half-expected a neon sign to blink, "Welcome to the Twilight Zone."

The bartender at Nu Way deserves a gold medal in multitasking – pouring drinks, solving world mysteries, and telling jokes that could rival a stand-up comedian. I asked for a specialty cocktail, and they whipped up a concoction that could raise the spirits of even the most skeptical ghosts.

If you're into sipping on history, dancing with eccentric regulars, and feeling like you've discovered a parallel universe, Nu Way is the place to be. It's not just a bar; it's a time-traveling, laugh-inducing, hole-in-the-wall masterpiece. Just be prepared to leave with more stories than you bargained for!

I have not had 1 bad item yet. Tried the hot honey chicken, two thumbs up. But once again there is nothing bad on their menu. The burgers have a unique taste that stands alone. Not to leave out the staff, they are the best, extremely friendly and make you feel at home. Love this place!¡!

This place has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots. The food is delicious, and the customer service is impeccable! It's a vibe! My favorite side is the mozzi bites!

I will definitely be back for the burger! I got a full setup, bacon, cheese and Italian sauce. Extremely good flavor! Not too greasy! Loved it!

The smiling server/bartender was awesome , you can tell he loves what he does. The Lady Burger griller deserves a gold metal. It was the best burger I have ever had. These two were the one-two punch in an amazing establishment. This place was comfortable friendly and the music was great. It felt like home. I will definitely be coming back.

I went with Reggie the day before yesterday on a short break (fedex ground guys), we ordered 2 delicious burgers (white trash and bulleyes) and I can come back as many times as I can. Thank you for being so kind.

Small hole in the wall but soooooo big on heart. 2nd time eating here and the atmosphere couldn't be more great. Went in for lunch, feeling down bc a family member was found dead. The bartender n waitresses made me feel so comfortable and was attentive the whole time. Got apple crown and peach crown along with sweet tea and the meal was the great philly cheesesteak with all the toppings. Tender meat onions peppers cheese and mayo.... Get that and go have a fun time

Went in early for our family supper, kids with us. They played darts, waitresses are always super nice and attentive, atmosphere is laid back and relaxed like you'd expect. Loved the food!!

*speaking of which, it's a really cool, eclectic collection of craft beers they have. I like to think I've tried and seen a decent bit of craft beers in my life, but they had some really interesting ones I've never seen and I have to go back to try the others!

'had to get the Food Network famous Redneck burger and it did not disappoint.

The special thing about this burger to me is the toppings of pimento cheese, chili, and assorted spice and sauces thrown in. It really brings all the flavors together in a fun package representing southern flavors.

And it's a BIG package folks - a tall and stacked burger - you're gonna get messy eating this thing in a good way haha.

For a side I got the cajun fries, and the cool thing about getting the fries is since the burger is hand-patted, you're gonna get some chucks of burger that fall to the side. With the pimento cheese being melted on top of it already, you can mix it with your fries, and it's like you get a special bonus of chili cheese fries when you're done with the burger!

Don't let the exterior dissuade you, what's inside is well worth it. The staff was pleasant and the food was great. Certainly a contender for the best burger in Spartanburg if not the winner of the contest. Will certainly be going back.

Don't let the looks of it scare you away! This hole in the wall, oldest bar in Spartanburg, with its' dark ambience and old school lamps, has got it going on! The "best burger in SC" will NOT disappoint! The wings were crispy and perfect, as were the onion rings. Worth the trip!!!

I got the cheese steak and my fiance had the French dip. The food was amazing (both, because I had a bite of his as well!), the service was awesome, and the price was really good. Less than $25 for both of us, now days that's hard to come by!

Quite possibly the best burger in Spartanburg County or even in SC.

Small, local neighborhood bar, one of the oldest around. Best burgers we had in a long time. The service (Raven) was great. Everyone was very friendly. Several tv's available to watch sports. We're from out of town and glad we found this place.

My little group just had dinner here and it was great! The burgers and fries are 5star all day long ! The beef patty was fresh and not frozen ! We did upgrade the fries and got fresh cut! My daughter really enjoyed her food also ! I would say that this was probably the best burger I’ve ever had! The lady who attend us was tremendous! She really took great care of us ! Thank You for a 5 Star experience! My highest recommendation for this place !!!!!!!
