Winton Inn & Suites

This is a gem of a place in Barnwell. The age of the building means you get spacious rooms that still have their original charm with updates. The grounds host a lovely brick courtyard area. The staff is very welcoming as well. Bonus-you have a wonderful restaurant called Eat Street on the property!

Stayed here in a pinch, after driving passed the other two hotels in the town, this one seemed to be the most comfortable/safe feeling location traveling with two small kids.
First room was not clean, but the staff was super nice and immediately gave us another room, second room was clean, its not the "Hilton" but its the best option in the town, was clean and safe for the night.
Beds are amazingly comfortable!!! Would def stay again if needed.

I stayed for 2 weeks for a work project. The owner is so accommodating and made sure that I felt safe staying alone for such a long time. The maids respected my privacy and brought my items when requested and left them by my door. The room was refurbished, fresh paint and clean. There is not much to eat in this small town so the owner made sure to tell me all the best spots in the area. Thank you all!

Rooms normal hotel size very clean smelled clean no sign of dust on anything! Comfy beds clean sheets walk in shower good size shower and make up space and big mirror beautiful little town with a historic look to it front desk lady im guessing the owner was amazing and very friendly felt like was being treated like family more then just a customer im from Wisconsin and if I ever come back here I'll definitely be staying the price is right for everything you get highly recommended

Rooms were super clean and comfortable, desk space, cabinets, etc. Despite being ran by maybe 2 people who commonly pull 24 hour shifts, the staff were super friendly and even helped us out with a room after arriving slightly after midnight. Location is maybe 10 minutes from a walmart and 15 minutes from the training institute, so this spot is perfect for the airsoft, tactical training, and fpv events that are held there. The attached restaurant, Eat Street, is amazing and cheap. Some of the best Nachos we have ever had and held us over for 24 hours before we started getting hungry somehow. Waitress was also very friendly and timely with service. Overall, staying here was a pleasure and really beats the hell out of camping out for GTI events.

This is an amazing place to stay and they treat you like family. Rooms have been remodeled, beds are comfortable, big flat screen TV's and there's also a good Mexican restaurant next door. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem on the out skirts of town.

Clean room and nice people who work there . Restaurant has good food and friendly waitress. Manager helped us with a room during a hard time to find a room in town .The maids are nice and good workers ,if it had a pool and hot tub it would be the best in town . My rooms were kept clean and manager and family are very nice people .

I was in town for work last week and this was the only place near me with vacancy. The rate on my queen suite was very reasonable, and the suite itself was very large. It came with two rooms and a large ensuite in one of the rooms. The suite was clean, well-decorated, and comfortable. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is! In addition, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the Winton Inn if you're staying in the area.

The hotel has to be the best I stayed in for a small town. They just renovated the property and the rooms were better than some Hamptons I've stayed in. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good and you had a choice. The only bad part was the restaurant isn't opening till the end of the month. After reading the reviews I was scared to stay here but when arrived everything looked different. Thank you to Vivek and Sunny for the kind hospitality to me and my family.

Amazing service, room was clean and the price was right. I would recommend this place. I'm nothing but pleased. Mrs. Suprecthi hospitality excellent. I can't stress enough how satisfied my stay was.

Very clean all the way around. We met the owner, Sonny, and he is very friendly and was so helpful. I highly recommend this place. I was even told that Elvis( The King) and James Brown ( The King of Soul) stayed here!!

Very tranquil! Staff went above an beyond to accommodate us.House cleaning staff did a great job of making sure the rooms was fresh and clean.The management made us feel welcome.Sonny is one of the coolest manager/owners I met in awhile!!!

They're new reaturaunt has the most amazing food in barnwell County the prices are great as well and the waitress we had was great bella we will definitely be back to eat there the chef sunny is just a amazing cook

Super friendly staff! The rooms were moden and very clean. Restaurant and gas station on the property. Breakfast was simple bit adequate. If staying in Barnwell this is definately your best bet.

I visited Sombreros. The new Mexican Restaurant fearured at this location. I placed a to go order. The food was delivered quickly. It was hot, packaged well and extremely delicious!

We have stayed here multiple times and have been treated great and room is always clean

Very nice management, lovely family! The Mexican restaurant here has amazing house dip along with salsa, to be honest the house dip is my favorite!
