This is one of the best places to buy shoes I've ever known when we were teenagers and smaller in school my mother bought our shoes from this place so my whole life I've been buying shoes from this store the owner and the staff is awesome God bless you all

Great service, nice shoes. When you wear my size, you're often out of luck, and I was here, too. But I'm glad I stopped in. I had $15 Downtown Dollars burning a hole in my wallet and unfortunately, they're not getting me into a new pair of shoes.

(Men's options were fairly traditional. Sometimes, I'll buy men's clogs, but they didn't have any backless, closed-toe shoes on the men's side of the store.)

Received a shoe voucher from my Job (Caterpillar) for a pair of steel toed work shoes/boots and the gentleman that helped me pick out a pair was very insightful, customer friendly, and just a cool person to talk with.

Just wanted to give a shout out and a big thumbs up to Phil Bedford and the helpful staff at Family Shoe Store. I have bought multiple pairs of shoes from Family Shoe Store throughout the years including SAS, Rockport and Dansko. My wife and I are both pleased with the quality of the shoes as well as the service provided and follow up after the sale. Thank you Family Shoe Store and as Phil Bedford told me his father used to say to his customers, "Don't forget to take off your shoes before you go to bed", a testament to how comfortable the shoes sold at Family Shoe Store are!

Went into store, asked to have my foot measured, & the old guy didnt even respond. Instead, he just stood there looking at me. He could have responded yes or no, but didnt. Then, I basically waited on myself. The only thing he did was get the shoes off the shelf and hand them to me. After about 5 mins in there, I put on my shoes and walked out. The people working in there didnt seem to care if I got served or not. You're wasting your time here!

If I could give it no start I would, because I’m more particular when it comes to my work shoes because I’ll be standing all day. Instead of him taking his time HE Rushed to get the items I was asking for he was trying give things I didn’t even ask for , giving me the wrong size. Pretty much warring himself out. I finally Got to the register he then slammed my shoes on the counter, he didn’t offer me a bag. Mean while I’m like yes sir this n that very respectful and still he had the audacity to be rude and have a disgusting attitude. I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
