This is the second time renting a unit at this place. Joe is awesome and the grounds have always been clean. The new gates are really nice too!

The most efficient and customer-oriented storage facility. The property manager, Joe Mathis, is very amiable and supportive in helping you decide what storage unit and U-Haul rental size you need. I highly recommend this place!!

Anytime I need a storage I always go right to American Self Storage because I know Joe will take care of me. No matter how far the move is I will always go back because I don’t think I would ever find someone as nice and genuine as this gentleman. If we had more people like him in the world it would be a better place. Thank you Joe for all you do. And keep being as great as you are! You’re always the highlight of my day when I come in!

I rented a uhaul from Joe not knowing I was going to need a storage unit when I returned. While I was checking in to get my uhaul, joe told me about some very reasonable priced storage units, I really didn’t think I would need one. After loading the uhaul, in another city, I quickly realized I would need a small storage unit. Knowing that Joe had several smaller ones available and at such a good price I felt so relieved k owing I had that option upon arrival back in my city. Joe was so professional and kind, I was very impressed with this company. Knowing that he lives on site makes me feel even better! I would highly recommend this company. Oh, and their location is perfect being right off the kilpatrick turnpike and Rockwell, it’s so easy to get where you need to go.

This storage is the best one i’ve been to! it’s super clean and affordable. Joe took the time to discuss and explain every detail and question we had and made us feel safe and secure to leave our items at his location. we have rented a couple of uhauls from here and will continue to rent from here if we need them again.

The entire experience from start to finish was amazing and stress free! Joe, the manager, was able to answer all of our questions and he went far above your average customer service. Best U-haul supplier we have ever used! We have moved a lot (9 times in 15 years). With our most recent move we have made multiple weekend rentals with America Self Storage. Hands down Camilla has been the best! We explained our situation and u-haul needs and she went above and beyond to make sure we got the equipment we needed! Professional, polite, kind and a pleasure to deal with!

What a great place to store my 'stuff'!!! Camilla is the Manager and she is not only professional but very helpful. Easy to understand and knows how to listen to your needs. Definitely worth every penny. Love that there were NO mouse droppings in the unit cause the overhead door is like sealed shut; love that. And they have 1st month specials. It's a great location, wonderful facilities with a charming chick to explain it all.

I am so thankful to have found this place! I had to get a storage unit in a hurry during one of the most chaotic seasons of my life. The manager, Joe, listened to my needs and helped me find exactly what would work best for me (and I am glad I listened to his suggestion, my stuff took up much more space in the uHaul & storage unit than I had imagined in my head LOL)! Joe was so kind & helpful and made the entire process seamless and as stress free as possible, from answering questions, looking & starting my rental, to payments, and finally to closing my account once I was able to move my stuff out. I will definitely be recommending Amercian Self-Storage #12 to my family and friends & will 100% come straight back here if I ever have any future storage unit needs. Thank you so much!!
