I had been dealing with debilitating numbness and pain in my buttocks, legs and feet for well over a year when I was referred to Dr. Ofori. He and his staff were very helpful in getting approval from the insurance company and wasted no time in scheduling the surgery. On 4/27/23, he performed discectomy, laminectomy and foraminotomy on lumber vertebrae L3, L4, L5 & S1.
Having any kind of back surgery can be scary, because so many things can go wrong when dealing with the central nervous system, but Dr. Ofori’s calm, confident and reassuring demeanor combined with my faith in God gave me confidence that things would be okay. Although it has now been only ten days since my surgery and I still have some post-surgery neuropathy in my feet and toes, I have been very pleased with the results up to this point. The symptoms that necessitated the surgery appear to be gone, and last night, for the first time in well over a year, I was able to lie in bed without terrible burning and electrical sensations coursing through my left thigh and making sleep difficult. Also, I can now stand in an upright position for more than five minutes without numbness and excruciating pain setting in from the waist down on both sides.
Only time will tell whether the current neuropathy will go away totally, but it pales in comparison to what I was dealing with before Dr. Ofori worked on me. So, based on my experience thus far, I highly recommend Dr.Ofori and his team of medical professionals at Comanche County Memorial Hospital for anyone having problems with herniated disks, spinal stenosis or similar issues.

I live with debilitating pain and chronic flares. I have a condition called Ankylosing Spondylitis, fibro, mixed connective tissue disease, and chronic pain syndrom. I suffered for 2 years without any help managing pain. Thankfully the office staff is kind and if I have questions they answer them. Ofori is a simple doctor, if I’m having newer issues arise he will look at them.
Out of all my doctors I don’t dread his visit so bad because the wait isn’t as bad as others.

Dr. Ofori saved my mom's life. She had a brain tumor. He is the kindest and most intellectual man I've met.. you can ask him any questions and he reponds. He really does care about his patients. He's not quick to do surgery. He does his research first. Look up his credentials. I did and I'm not sorry our family put our mothers life in his hands. Thank you for blessing us!

Had my surgery in November 2013 and I have done as good as can be expected since. He and his staff treated me better than any other Surgeon I have ever seen. If your looking for a friend then look elsewhere, if your looking for a good Dr. try Ofori. He and his staff are extremely professional and will help you for as long as it takes. God bless them all.

Dr Ofori is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. He is quiet, humble and caring. Dr. Ofori, his office, and medical staff provide outstanding care. I had my C4-7 surgery on 28 Feb, 2019.. I am healing and recovery nicely. Praise the Lord!

I've been through a lot of Dr's around the country, and he is the only one who, in my first appointment knew what my complaints were.
The first time he listened and examine me. I were in severe pain and called his office to see what I had to do, I am still in the process to see how his treatment work. I have my fixation broken, so I don't know If he would like to approach surgery yet.

I am still indecisive if he can help with my problem

Very displeased with my experience with this Physician.

During my visit, after checking in I waited for almost and hour to be seen. Once Dr. Ofori finally came into the room. I explained to him, that I hade been suffering with severe lower back pain for over a decade. Had multiple different types of treatments from different pain management physicians, chiropractic, multiple MRI’s showing worsening conditions, physical symptoms showing, limitations and restrictions present from my current physicians. While explaining this to him, he consistently laughed at what I was saying which was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, he even went as far as to imply my pain was psychological.

This is the second physician at Comanche memorial that I or my wife have been referred to that has treated us this way.
I will be getting my referral changed with tricare asap to another physician and will change every referral from here on out away from this facility.

He is the worst possible Dr to do back surgery!! He totally messed me up!! I've had more trouble with my legs, back and neck since my surgery!! I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this dr!!

Did my back surgery in 2013, and as a Neurologist he over stepped his area of expertise. He worked on the lower bones in my back and all of the rods and screws came undone, and I had to see a orthopedic surgeon to fix what he so GREATLY SCREWED UP. IT HAS TAKEN ME THIS LONG TO ACTUALLY SPEAK ABOUT THIS PUBLICLY. I PRAY I'M THE LAST PERSON HE HAS SCREWED UP OR OVER. I ALSO ENDED UP WITH RODS ON EACH SIDES OF MY BUTTOCKS TO STABILIZE THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY PELVIS WICH WAS FRACTURED AFTER THE SURGERY HE PERFORMED CAME UNDONE. NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT ALL, WISH I KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
