Such a fabulous place! It is a definite place I will eat every time I’m in the area. Great food, atmosphere and service. Everything is homemade from the bread to the mozzarella. Very eco-conscious and oh what a selection of craft beers and craft foods. The menu is ever changing based on what they feel like and what’s in season.

What a wonderful and unexpected hit on a chilly Friday. We were quickly approached and sat conveniently with a view of the food and beer menus which each offer a lot of variety for such a small dive. Settling in we were impressed with the attentiveness of the staff; it seemed like a great crew that enjoyed what they do and each other. Pictured is the Margherita pizza with Pepperoni added, which has zero business being as good as it is, absolutely a 9/10 pie for the value and quality. Not pictured is the Friday special, Beef on Wek, which shocked and awed us with the portions and ridiculous flavor that had us rolling our eyes at every bite. I expected to have a decent time with some solid grub, but did not expect to be blown away at the experience. Lexington has something special and we hope to return to KC for many nights and years to come.

This experience reminded me of why it's absolutely worth exploring locally and going out to eat in such a tough and....expensive time.

Perhaps my favorite restaurant and bar in Lexington offering up fresh baked bread for the sandwiches. Pizza is amazing ! Try Beef on Weck sandwich a Buffalo specialty.

Looking for a real local feel, this is the place. It’s loud, it’s rustic, it’s simple and the staff is incredible. Friendly and attentive using all of today’s interpersonal buzz words, Bro. “You doing ok, my friend.” I was alone thinking how much my wife would love this place. I’m sure if we lived here this would be a regular place for us.

How’s the food you ask? Hot and tasty. How can they miss with only a dozen items and pizza. The smoker is fired up early and it brings out deliciousness on a plate. If you stop by, make sure you get the tomato Basil soup, I grew up in tomato soup and this kicks every bowl I’ve eaten before.

I’m here on a Friday night and the crowd is eclectic and boisterous. Laughter and loud speak fill the concrete walls. You looking for a sports bar? Not here, just great food, amazing beers and a fantastic staff.

You cannot go wrong.

So, my daughter did a video review.. everything here is scratch made with as many local ingredients as possible. It's a neighborhood gem that I publicly love, but secretly want them to stay slightly under the radar. I would be devastated if I had to wait for a table! Brian and staff are always doing amazing things and special shout-out to Charlie for always knowing a face no matter how long it's been!

Always a great selection of beers, amazing food (the bread is baked in house and the mozzarella hand pulled) 😋 The shroom panini is my go-to.
What makes this place shine is its consistency. Great food, great beer, welcoming and friendly staff, and a wonderful vibe.

This is our favorite neighborhood bar. The food is amazing…get the pretzel. The staff is super friendly. The beer is cold and the music is good. Great hangout spot.

Keg Cowboy, 108 E Main St., Lexington is one of our favorites. Located downtown it is in a great location and in a great old building which really lends to the atmosphere. The brick walls and vintage look give it a cool and comfortable vibe. We love to hang here when we are able to get out, and have even been known to use work meetings as an excuse to go.
They don’t have a huge selection but they have enough, even offering wine for those who don’t like beer.
My favorites this time around were the Savannah River Uncle Festbier (their Octoberfest) and the Founder’s Breakfast Stout (I will always be a MI girl at heart).
You can get a flight to try multiple things so you can find your favorite too.
They really shine when it comes to their food! Though if you are lactose intolerant your options are limited… I am not, however, so I love it all! It doesn’t just taste phenomenal, but you can also tell their ingredients are quality and that speaks to me.
The prices for everything are all around reasonable. The staff was super friendly and attentive and I love that they are friends with some of the other brewpub owners in town. That speaks highly of our local business owners.
We have been before and taken our kids and have always been well received. There is a shelf with board games and pinball machines so they won’t be bored with our grown up talk.

After a rough night at another local joint, all I wanted was a slice of pizza. Upon walking back to our car, we passed Keg Cowboy. Having seen it for years, but never been in, we figured, hey, let’s grab a night cap.

I cannot explain how refreshing it was to walk in, be immediately treated like family, get amazing beer, and A SLICE OF PIZZA!

Service couldn’t have been better. Alejandro was wonderful.

The standard pepperoni pizza was great. Crust was crisp, sauce to mozzarella to pep ratio was perfect. You cannot get a better simple pizza in Lexington.

Don't walk to the corner, just stop at Keg Cowboy. You’ll thank me later.

Keg Cowboy is the spot on Main Street for good eats and good drinks. The bar features high rotation taps, so there is always somethi new, and the food is much better than normal bar food with ingredients that sound fancy and are hard to spell. Check it out. I recommend the Cuban sandwich!

Little hippy place in downtown Lexington that serves up great food. Can't go wrong with the SOS Plate!

This is such a cool place! All of the staff are friendly and fun to interact with. The food is amazing and the beer is always great.

I love it here. It's my favorite! This place is the absolute best for food, beer, and atmosphere. Alejandro took great care of us and provided 100/5 star 🌟 service when my family visited Keg Cowboy! I had the char pep pizza and it was outstanding! The duck panini was favored by my lady, and my daughter split the pizza with me. Not one bad experience! Will return as often as I can! This place is fantastic! The beer selection is great, the employees are awesome and super helpful, and the food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Everything is made in house from the breads to the mushroom soup. This is definitely one of our new favorite local destinations!

We went there because we wanted a few beers before we met up with friends. We enjoyed some of their beer selections and played pinball. Everyone there is always friendly. This used to be our favorite afternoon spot for drinks and food. Keg Cowboy is known for their homemade gourmet soups, cheese boards, specialty sandwiches and pizzas. The make their own breads in house and use local ingredients. Unfortunately they have stopped serving during lunch but they continue to serve in the evenings.

Friendly Craft beer bar and restaurant! Great farm to table dishes! Menu changes daily according to what’s available! The pork belly is To Die For!!! Not sure which beer to order? Let them know what you typically like at the bar and they will make suggestions, and let you sample before you order. Don’t pass up the cheeseboard while you’re there - they too always change - never been disappointed!

Great restaurant, great owner and great service! Local craft beer, home made house made mozzarella cheese for their pizzas and delicious sandwiches. Can't recommend this place enough. Fun for a night out with friends or a meal out with family. Thank you Brian! Go Celtics!

This one is a typical American Bar. Our table tried the cheese platter, the pepperoni pizza and the duck panini. The pizza looked great and the guys destroyed it. The duck panini was fantastic! The beer menu changes based on what they have in house. We all were very satisfied with the selection.

Had the K C Reuben with tomato & onion salad with vinegrette and a stone Bueneveza salt & lime lager for dinner. Holy smokes! The vinegrette was out of this world, and the reuben was amazing. The crusty bread and home made sauce perfectly complimented the corned beef and pickled cabbage.
