We rented a house for approximately 2 years with no issues ...Then in Mid December of last year we moved to a different location, In December we cleaned the house and returned the keys we also turned in a 30 day notice for January ,We also paid rent for January with a verbal agreement to go ahead and put the house on the market since “no one was living there”Take in mind we don’t have keys or access to this house any longer in January we have had absolutely no contact with Nortex here is it February 13 and I receive a text from Mandy stating we need to make a payment for February?So I send a text back stating they can use the deposit we didn’t receive back-for The month of February then that’s when things get ugly Mr. Micheal D calls me and state that the house is not clean to his expectations! My question why you telling me this now you’ve had a whole month!! Then He tells me that since I didn’t relinquish the keys to him to 30 day notice is not valid and there were several other things going he was going on about ... when we signed the contract he told us to deal with Mandy which is what we did the whole time and now he has a problem with it... Then he goes on to say if someone had moved in the house wouldn’t come after me for more money!Wow really ...( our lease was up in February) I gave them plenty of time to go in and examine the house and even gave them the go ahead a move someone in January after I paid rent for January and they put the house on the market in the beginning of January I had no issue till they started getting greedy .... I do not recommend Nortex at all If you want honest and dependable go to Debra west and her team will definitely make sure your treated fairly!!!!

Maintenance issues that effect health and safety that have been ignored
We moved into the residence managed by Nortex Realty Mike Detrick in Wichita Falls From the time we moved in there were old mouse and rat glue traps all over the top of our fridge and the blinds were filthy and worn out and were all breaking and falling out of the window when we went to use them. We are up to 6 blinds that we are without because of this. we told Tim Brewer who works for Nortex of this problem when he came to remove the lockbox from the door. He asked for the measurements of the blinds and told us that he'd give them to the handy man and have the handy man get in touch with us. To this date we have never heard from anyone regarding that.

We also have problems with our kitchen cabinets not having backing boards under 2 of the cabinets and you can literally see outside when you look under them. Bugs and pests are making entry into the house because of this and the cabinets can not be used.

The threshold leading out the back door is loose and flexes under your feet. My wife has already fallen over it because of this.

The neighborhood itself has police in it all the time because of drugs and domestics and our windows aren't and can't be properly covered because the problem with the blinds has never been resolved.

We don't have a driveway because the business that owns the house took away the driveway years back to make a parking lot and because of events that they have at the next door have no designated parking and have been without a place to park on more than one occasion.

We have told Nortex Realty in person about our maintenance issues, called them, e-mailed them, put it in writing, texted them, and sent a certified letter that Mandy Mann in that office signed for but all of our issues have been ignored.

I did not personally work with Nortex Realty. I was a buyer who used a different realtor but Nortex Realty agent, Andy Menk, was the sellers agent. Our contract stated the close date was on the 27th but he apparently thought it was the 26th. My wife and I did a walk through of the house on the 26th and find there is no electricity on, the grass hasn’t been mowed in probably a few weeks, and dog feces still in the backyard. He told the sellers we’d close on the 26th. It was 84 degrees in the house and did not have any lights. I have purchased and sold a house in the past that doesn’t even touch the disrespect Mr. Menk showed us as buyers to inform the sellers how things should be. Would not recommend.

The most shady and double crossing company every. Don’t ever buy or try to rent from them. They well tell you one thing and the next choose not to honor a deal. If you really didn’t want a animal at the property the next time don’t agree to let us have one just say so no. Instead of letting us go threw the whole process wasting time that I didn’t have to find a house. Will definitely make sure to post this on every media platform.

Couldn’t get an answer or reply from office. Had another broker show me the house. Terrible customer service, rude and disrespectful.

Don't rent or buy from most shady company ever.
