The Stone Cellar & Round Top Dance Hall

Highly recommend this place! Hand-breaded, juicy onion rings. Grilled hamburger buns, done the old-fashioned way, juicy meat. Thin crust pizza is very thin. I had the parmesan salad, which was delicious.

Great night with my friends at The Stone Cellar! Prices are high ($10 per small pour of wine), but the atmosphere, friendliness and food make up for it. Brandi was our waitress. She was very friendly and fast getting our items to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the live music and dance space. It seems many of the patrons were locals. They were all warm and even asked us all to dance several times. The outside perimeter has a wrap around porch that would be great for warmer months (we were there in November). The chips and queso were great. The chips themselves were piping hot. The fried green tomatoes served with ranch are delicious. I recommend this place fir anyone wanting a fun night out with small town feel and charm.

Great atmosphere. Great staff, Try their pizzas with their own candied jalapenos. Very addicting. Their motzarella sticks are super decadent and filling. They're almost a meal. Their burgers are excellent too I'm honored to frequent there to perform music.

5➕ stars all the way around! They’ve got the Texas hospitality down. 😀 Friendly and welcoming staff and folks. It’s not every place you can walk in and the owner, staff and other patrons greet you with a smile and a regular plays some great music on his guitar! Wonderful atmosphere with some neat rustic decor and great overall laid back feel.

Great country place. Good destination for a motorcycle ride. Rustic and homey. Friendly people. Good food. Wife and I shared a meatlovers pizza and it was just right.

My band, Brown Sugar Band had the honor of playing at this gem. The food was delicious and the staff was great. My band will be back here soon. Come check us out. I highly recommend this place 👌

Great pizza! The Spicy Cowgirl was amazing😋 and service was wonderful! I'm not a huge fan of canned soft drinks at a restaurant though. I'd prefer fountain drinks and sweet tea (after all we are in TX)!

A group of riders decided to make a trip out of it. The food was OK. Service was good, and food came out at a reasonable time. The building is different from one may think.

Ducked in to get out of the rain. Ended up eating here. The Dude cheeseburger is ridiculously awesome! Be hungry! The atmosphere is reminiscent of a Texas dancehall.

Five of us had a very nice, delicious early dinner here. Very friendly and engaging staff. Margaritas were well made, and they had a suitable wine selection. We tried the Round Top salad and the watermelon salad, and found them both fresh, crunchy and tasty. Chicken Fried Steaks were perfectly made, as was the chicken.
All in all it was a delicious and enjoyable meal.

On our way to Austin we stumbled into this hidden gem! They had a live band that would cover anything from Tupac to Slipknot but with their Country Twang versions! 😂 Joking about the Cover band but this is a place where you take a nice gal to before ya hit up 6th St. In Austin, just to show her how life will be if and when ya get older together! 😁

Oh and the cookies are to die for!!! Some of the best/softest cookies I've ever had!

Such a cool location! Friendly staff, great pizza, insane drink selection, and true Texas ice house atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The pizza and beer are great. I had the Cowgirl Junkie pizza and recommend it. It has pepperoni, Canadian bacon and homemade candied jalapenos (we visited with the lady who candies them). I loved the crispy, thin crust. My wife had a gluten- free pizza and said the crust was really good. As far as value, the 12" pizza at $15-$17 is enough for 2 to share. In a tourist location like Round Top, it is practically a bargain.

The atmosphere is homey western pub. The staff are friendly, and obviously invested in the place.

I'm not a big beer person, but enjoyed the on-tap "Buried Hatchet" dark ale. It was smooth and malty.

Went in a Saturday around 7 pm - 8 pm. They had live music. It wasn't so loud you couldn't talk. We were outside. Nice clean tables and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Mellow patrons. Got the thin crust pizza. It was tasty. Good menu with a variety of options. Several draft beers, wines, and spirits. Overall, it was a lovely place.

If you haven't been to Stone Cellar since the revamp, all I can say is be prepared to be impressed.

The new lounge bar is awesome and actually had some really nice selections for drinks. The menu is awesome. The sliders were to die for!

The dance hall side also now has great food and has a full liquor license now, so no more is it limited to just beer/wine.

The bathrooms have been remodeled and are much nicer/cleaner as well.

Add in the 550 next door and this is now a much upgraded and better place to spend your evening than in the past.

What a great place to have a drink, hang out with loved ones and listen to some live music! The homemade Sangria was pretty great, husband loved the selection of beer both bottled and draft!

Great vibes, great food and great people! Love that they support live music!
