First Southern Baptist Church

Such kind people who are dedicated to Jesus. They are a large part of the help for many who have been impacted by the largest fire in Texas history. Several of their members are serving with 100 or more people of TBM clearing properties & providing farm & ranch supplies. Praise God!

Warm congregation, good Biɓle study, good music! This church hosted the Texas Baptist Disaster Relief crews for the community after the Panhandle Fires!

My granddaughter recently started attending Wednesday evenings for youth group. I have gone three times with her and it's awesome! James, the youth leader, is great. He is very knowledgeable, was to talk to, works well with the kids, and has a way of making everyone feel welcome and included. The youth have a wonderful time playing different sports in the beautiful gymnasium, playing in the game room, hanging out with friends in the diner type area, and/or simply having a safe, welcoming environment to just chill and relax. Then everyone gathers in the student worship center (not sure if the room has an actual name, but that's what I'll call it for this review) to learn about the Gospel. They start with a movie clip taken from Biblical events, then read through the actual Scriptures the scene was created from, and have a discussion. I have actually learned new things during the "class" portion. Not sure about the ages, but I know the many Jr High and High School kids attend every Wednesday.

I grew up in this church and it has changed over the years, but I still feel comfortable there!

Many years ago a friend took me to your church and well when the old pastor had us raise our hands if we haven't been saved, I raised mine and I was forced to be saved. It was terrible. It was my first time going and that wasn't right for yall to force me. I should do it when I'm ready. It felt like a cult. I pledge my loyalty to Grace Church.
