Hampshire County Helping Hands

Found a beautiful vintage wedding dress, and several baby items, 2 pairs of shoes a jacket and a hat and it didn't cost me more than 22 dollars very friendly staff and more than fair prices! Only downside is the store Is very crowded and a little hard to navigate.

If more people were like the volunteers at helping hands, the world would be a much better place. Every little town needs a place like this, I cant thank them enough for doing what they do, you name it they have it and the prices are unbelievable. Even when my boys are being boys they always smile and tell me in doing fine, it's like a little family of people who truly care.

I have been to many thrift stores in my childhood out of necessity. I wish all were like this one! They gave me a free Bible, there are other good things that most poor kids don’t have access to. I also got an angel figure on a unicorn I put near my bed every night. The people are very hospitable.

Stopped by while passing through Romney on Feb 2020, and only had time for one thrift store, and since this one is the closest to the Romney Diner, where we had breakfast, we walked there. We were so glad to have picked this shop! Great selection, excellent prices, friendly staff. We found some real treasures. It’s a must!

This is the best thrift store I have ever been in. I grew up in the area and it served us so well, so often I'd need something, even something really random like a window sash lock or a book on Alaska and the next time I went in there it would be. Such a guardian angel of a place, and such such kind staff that go above and beyond to look out for their community.

I love this little shop. Everyone working there are volunteers and the money they earn through sales is given right back into the community. If you have items to donate, they welcome it and they have yard sale prices for the items they sell.

Helping Hands is an Incredible asset to our community! We are grateful for all they do!

This is the friendliest small town, "help your neighbor out" establishment I've ever visited.

They use all the money to help needy people. I donate all my things to them. The people who work there are volunteers.

So nice to shop there since it opened back up.
