It's been years but back in the late 80s early 90s when the gypsy mouth closed the park we drove back and Camped here any way. The kids jumped off the ledge just like the pictures. Awesome place beauty beyond words. 😍 they floated down from the rail road tracks. To the sand curves so much love for this place. Is it open now??

We love the natural beauty and seclusion of the area. Meeting more natural area lovers up here each year. Bring the family, sunscreen, fresh water supply, toilet area and area appropriate trail and water sports toys. We go there Spring to Fall. You can sled in and winter camp. We choose other, more easily accessible, Southern winter camping. Lol.

Total anarchy and zero infrastructure. 5 of 5 stars. Very clean for a popular spot with no trash cans or toilets.

Love it out there totally rustic and my family and friends have been camping there for years and we always make sure it's clean when. We leave and so do most ppl can't account for all ppl but we love it

Rustic camping with a great view. Our site was near a sand bar so we tied off and enjoyed the river for hours.

About Harrison
City in Michigan

Harrison is a city in and county seat of Clare County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,150 at the 2020 census.
