I couldn’t recommend this campground enough. It is very small, extremely accommodating, and has almost every amenity large campgrounds have. The owner is extremely nice, caring, and wonderful to work with. It’s extremely cheap to stay here, and it is BEYOND worth every penny. Since buying a property out here, we camp here 3-4 times a year. We have only had incredible experiences and that is during summer, fall, and winter. ** i noted the pervious reviews stated they didn’t so, they now have wifi**

Again I cannot recommend this campground enough! Everyone should experience a campground like this one at least 1 time.

Beautiful and quiet spot. Staying here for 2 weeks. Incredible rate. Full hook ups with 30A service and sites for 50A- but those are pull through, so since I was a longer stay, the owners gave me a large 30A site. There is wifi available but it is a bit slow, no worries though, I’m here for work. The campground is VERY clean. My rig is 32.5ft with 2 slides- getting situated in the spot was a bit of a chore due to the trees however once in, the site was mostly level, it took 2 leveling blocks on one side to be as close to level as possible. Overall I would recommend this campground and would stay again. As others have said it is in the mountains so use caution and take it slow and there’s no reason why a larger camper or even a 5th wheel couldn’t camp here :-)

Wow! This place is gorgeous. Helpful tip. If you're towing a camper, the road leading in from the north is challenging. I strongly recommend coming in from the south off of Highway 50

Wonderful campground! We loved everything about it, all the hook-ups at each campsite, the bathhouse, pool, hiking trails, catch and release ponds, playgrounds for the kids, the owner was amazing to deal with. It was a pleasure to go and we can't wait to return!

I visited in 2016, had a delightful time. I had a 45' 5th wheel camper that I parked up almost at the top of the hill, the scenery was still quite beautiful in April, despite the winter taking all the leaves down, it had started to grow back a bit. Weather was spectacular and the drive to the campsite was outstanding! Folks who were working the campground were very polite and I would absolutely visit again if I still had my camper!

Tucked away campground that we loved. Very quiet. Owner was generous, welcoming and kind. Big sites with plenty of room. Nice pool. Hiking trails, horseshoes, and playgrounds. Hope we can return soon. Easy access to Romney and Potomac River.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have been too, very friendly staff and settled in the mountains. Went there during the weekdays, very peaceful and quiet. Just relaxed and got some well deserved rest.

Very grateful the owner not only picked up the phone minutes prior to closing but also stayed an extra 15-20 minutes in order to ensure I had a place to stay while traveling alone. Thank you!!!

We had a wonderful experience here. I couldnt make reservations online because i needed them for the next night for an off road jeep event. I called and immediately got a reservarion. When i got there, the staff was extremely friendly and got us to our site. After a while they came by to make sure everything was ok. Its a beautiful setting but the road could be challenging for a large RV. I will definately stay here again. We were amused with the donkey in the pasture baying, but it was by no means obnoxious.

Very nice, quiet, wooded, campgrounds in the hills of West Virginia. Has 2 nice ponds for fishing. Small pool and usually have it all to your self! Nice playground for kids and shelter house for cooking close to play area. If you want to experience the true feel of the hills of WV with out all the Hussle and bussle this is the place for you! Can get wifi at pool and playground. Nice hiking trails and good views. Friendly owners.

i have stayed at hundreds of campgrounds in our RV adventures, and coming down from alaska ive seen it all, but this one is the one me and the wife always talk about. it was the sketchiest road in and out ive ever driven my rv on, and ive been all over alaska, ive never been on a road like this! we joked that it was probably made during the civil war. cant believe i got my rv up there, and then backed into my site. my buddy came up to visit us in his 4x4 and he was shocked i had my rv up in there! and if i was ever going to see an east coast bigfoot, this was the place! remote, wooded, out in the middle of nowhere, it was awesome! this is was RVing in the back roads is all about! i totally loved it! it was dark, quiet and spooky at night! totally awesome! might not want to take an rv bigger than 32 foot up there but if you can do it! you wont forget it! fun stuff! in fact if you can get your rig up into this place, theres no where in alaska you cant go! we dont have any roads like this up here! :)
