The Hof Bar & Grill

This is the best bar in the area. The wings were the best ive had in a long time. We couldn’t stop saying how amazing the food is here, and we try to make it in when we are ready to sit down and hangout. The Ultimate pizza is so good, you will crave it days after trying it. The waitress was very kind and accommodating.

The girlfriend club spent a long weekend in Freesoil. Power went out and we went to the Hof! What a great time we had! Thank you to all who made our night! Can’t wait to go back! The owner and all made us feel so special!

Great little place to enjoy casual meal with drinks!! Sometimes we just don’t want to drive to Ludington or Manistee. Service is always great and so is the food!

My other half and I have come here often recently due to our move to the area. We have tried a variety of the the food and have been pleased each time. I am not a huge fan of pizza, but they have a chicken bacon pizza that is incredible. The prices are not that bad, and there is quite a variety of things to choose from.

While the rest of my family are Hof regulars I had my first Hof dinner last Friday...thanks to your dictator governor, we wanted to support local. The absolute best perch I have ever had in my life! The quantity (wasn't sure I could finish it, I did) the quality was like I caught it myself. Awesome, I have to try the pizza next.

Great little place for beer and pizza. Always great service as well. There is other bar food but it is amazing how good the pizza is considering the 2 little pizza ovens they have. Quality ingredients is the key. Great pizza in the middle of nowhere can't go wrong. Worthwhile stop

Can't visit northern Mason County without dining at the Hof in Freesoil! We had a birthday boy, and he was met with a shot of Wild Turkey and a birthday celebration! Where else can you find that? We had the Cod, Perch, and Shrimp fry and we left stuffed! Of course, the adult beverages helped with that! They even bought us two rounds of free drinks and there were 9 of us! Before we left, we enjoyed some snacks: seasoned fries, fried mushrooms, twice baked potatoes, and the deep fried cauliflower! Wow, one of the best evenings we had in Mason County! Go Pirates!

It was a great experience. It was busy which is good. Staff was excellent. Kitchen staff made a very delicious meal. The best part is that it was very affordable. 5 stars!!

I love small town pubs and this one is great. Good draft beer selection, great and friendly wait staff, great food (pizza is superb), a friendly atmosphere where folks can get together.

Great food, priced more like a restaurant than a typical bar. Friendly servers, fast service, something for everyone, including mac and cheese! Note- no kid's menu.
