Insta Launch Campground & Marina

I loved this place, we stayed in one of the marina trailers, we didn't catch many fish but I had a blast there and the ladies and guys that worked there made my time in Michigan so much better than just a boring trip to Michigan... thank you so much for the great experience..

Great location, was able to relax in camp while my kids fished 10 feet away. But what really makes this place a great stay is the folks who run it. The entire place had a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Unbeknownst to me I lost my work cell phone at the campground. The staff found it with a dead battery, charged it up and called me. They then payed to ship it to my house near Lansing, refusing my offer of reimbursement. We will definitely be staying here again.

We didn't stay there, but everytime we called to be able to leave our boat they always had an open spot for us.

Love it here! The new staff is sooo nice! Clean and friendly campground! Glad we got the chance to come back!

Great camping place with full hookup’s. Cabin and camper rentals. Right on the Manistee River. Modern shower house and laundry facilities.
I camped for 4 nights on a trip that started out to be 2 nights.
Hand dipped ice cream is available in the camping store along with anything you might have forgotten.

We stayed at the campground just for a night. We stayed in our tent and unfortunately it stormed really hard that night, not going to lie that was quite the experience 😳 haha!
We were supposed to be there for 2 nights but the weather was supposed to be the same for the next night, so we voted to head home 🙂
But the Campground it's self was pretty nice, the office/store had tons of fishing equipment at a reasonable price.
They had some like hot dog buns and a few similar items oh and they have hand dipped Ice cream whole bunch of varieties.
And our campground neighbors were nice as well.
Can't tell you if it was quiet 😅 because yeah stormed all night so...

Wonderful campground. Rented one of the RV spots for two nights. RV was super clean and completely stocked with everything you need besides your food, clothing and bedding. Perfect spot with boat access, beautiful beach only 5 mins away and right near downtown Manistee. New staff is very friendly and grounds are kept extremely well. Would recommend kayaking or canoeing more than tubing but overall I highly recommend if you have a camper or looking to rent one!

Awesome camp ground with the best bait shops iv ever seen at a campground!! Better than most stores with great prices. The friendly staff was great and in sure I will return. Spots are small so better be skilled with backing in a camper and alot of campsites have their own private dock

As We travel being on the road full time the struggle is real trying to pinpoint good Rv parks / Campgrounds well during the 4th of July week we really have enjoyed this campground, amazing staff, very clean, really the first park we have seen full in awhile. Swimming, fishing, beautiful lake scene, hell you can park your boat in the water at your own dock on your site. Day 2 and the staff knows your name and came by daily to check on you, pick up trash, bring wood, offer coffee. This is what we always imagined when booking a camp yet doesnt happen very often. When you get there say hello from us and tell Molly hello and relax and enjoy.

This was our first time at this campground. It was very nice, all the people were fabulous and helpful. We had a really nice spot by the beach. The bathrooms were very clean, using quarters for the shower.. not really a big deal..at least you got hot water. We will definitely come back and camp there again.

Little hole in the wall right on the river with beautiful views, super nice people, and the best priced bait shop I've ever been too. Totally worth a visit. They even have boat rentals, although they were all rented out when I visited.

Absolutely love it here. New management is working very hard to meet everyones needs. Very kind and helpful with fishing tips. Safe for a family a people of all ages... Beautiful.

I loved staying here! It's a smaller campground, but it's beautiful! Staff were nothing but helpful and kind to me during my stay. If you love to fish this is the place to be! It IS a campground so if you don't like the dirt or outdoors, stay at a hotel.

New owners, and they are making many positive changes. Very clean amd well kept. Our family had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and very helpful! We will be back for sure.

We rented a pontoon boat for the day for insta launch. Great experience! Tom was so helpful in setting us up and getting us all set to go out. Equipment worked well and we had a great time cruising manistee lake and fishing. Would book again

I rented a pontoon boat from here I was very happy with the price on the boat. The staff was a beyond and above friendly I didn’t have a lot of experience with the boat the gentleman explained it to me and made it very simple. I recommend renting a pontoon boat from here and probably camping as well they’re good people.

Been a bit since I camped here. I gave up on this place till I found out there were new owners. The new owners are actually putting money into the campground and things are looking up! Can't wait to go back

Been going there for three years. Great campground for the folks that love to fish in the river, lake or the big lake. Great ice cream selection. Carrot cake ice cream. Yum.

Crowded but it has everything you need. We stayed right on the water. Close to everything in town. We canoed 4 hours down the Manistee River and ended at Insta Launch. Great trip.

Great place! Responsive! Highly recommend.
