When you're in Rangely... you have to stop here..! Great local food and excellent pizza and they have the perfect chili for those cold days..

The owners are so kind and the food is high quality, the kitchen is clean and well maintained. I have never had a negative experience, only positive experiences it will be back before they close. Rangeley will sorely miss this staple!

My family has been coming to Rangeley for 25+ years and we always make it a point to visit Red Onion several times during our vacations. This is a warm, local restaurant. It’s especially wonderful during ski season when you want a hot bowl of their famous chili. You can’t go wrong here.

Loved my pizza!

Super nice service. I decided to change my take out to dine in and they were so nice about it. I ate half cheese and half pineapple pizza and it was delicious sauce and delicious base.
PS- dont miss the lemon chello cake!

Stopped here after a long day of travel. Recommended by a local. Sa dwich was good, service was good. Clean place. Chairs seemed hard after sitting all day, but good experience.

Some very unique menu items including “flat fries” and “Rueben Pizza”. A great place to stop for lunch or supper.

Amazing family restaurant close to Saddleback. Kids friendly and awesome atmosphere. The experience was the highlight of our day!

Mediterranean Pasta The best Pasta dinner I have ever had, hand down . This is better than any food I had in Italy.

Great little family restaurant. My kids had the pizza which was really fresh and tasty. I had the lasagna which was described as, "made with love", and I definitely tasted the love. It had a ton of meat and the perfect amount of cheese. The service was spot on, friendly and attentive. I was reluctant based on previous reviews, but very pleasantly surprised. Well done Red Onion, well done!

Me and my family had amazing food at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Their were two staff members who were friendly and helpful. The original waitress made us wait long periods of time for items and wasnt friendly at all. Still was a great experience and the other staff were great

Great food decent sized portions and a fair price. Also the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is amazing nice and friendly. I don't give out 5 stars very often I'm hard to please but this place has it together

The Red Onion is a integral part of life in Rangeley. I worked there during high school and was thrilled to get to see Skender who was both my boss and landlord at the time.
These are wonderful people and they put out really good food! I highly recommend!

Cilla is wonderful, and the food is great! We enjoyed our dinner of pizza and reuben. They make their own sauerkraut.

This restaurant has a good menu and a build a pizza option.

We had the burgers, lasagna, poutine, garlic fries and a custom pizza with a homemade crust and sauce. There wasn't one bad item that we received.

This place was the best. We had a young man as our waiter and he was excellent. The salads, beef and vegetable soup, lasagna and steak tips were all delicious. My husband and I are beyond impressed. Never had such excellent service especially in such a young man. The bus boy was so polite as well. We left so pleased. Thank you!

We ordered out on a rainy day. Pizza, chili and fries. Pizza is fantastic and the chili is killer and the fries even surprised us! Recommend 100%!
