Kept earnest money even after finding the house was in unacceptable condition. The inspection came back with asbestos and several other major problems, all of which the sellers wouldn't remediate. It was explained that anything major would be tended to or the contract would be void. Well, they kept every penny. Unfair expectation setting, terrible service and highly unethical tactics. They also tried to slip in a contract stating that any home we purchased in the following 12 months they would receive a commission for without presenting or discussing it with me. It was literally slipped into a pile of papers when signing on an offer. Sneaky.
