Henry Hometown Hardware

This is a small but sweet Hometown business. Friendly people who will say hello and ya need help! You can also drop your packages off for the UPS at the back of the store. Prices might be a little bit high but not bad. They do carry quite a good variety for being so small. It feels like you stepped back into a better era when you walk inside this business. It's a gentle, more slower time period, a time when clerk's really know the product you are asking about and enjoy their customers. The building itself has that feel of goodness and Inviting you in with it soft soft petina from aging well.

Read Bros is an immense hardware store. They handle a lot of the one off hard to find hardware parts. You'll find yard and garden needs from seed to chainsaws. Fully supplied paint section. Tools both power and hand. Very good automotive section. As is their electrical and plumbing isles. Big selection of v belts. UPS drop off and pick up. Very good welding supply section. This store is well worth stopping by just to browse. You're bound to find something you've needed and haven't been able to find anywhere else. 👍👍👍

A friendly place, an old-school hardware store combined with what a True-Value has to offer. If you can't find something, ask...it might be tucked away in a myriad wooden drawers. It's easy to find, with convenient parking.

They say “Ace is the place”, Read Brother Hardware in Henry, Il. is THAT PLACE. From a 1/4” screw to a 16 penny nail, if you need it they GOT IT. Yard Supplies, seed, feed, Tools & the like. ALL under one roof. The staff is GREAT. One can’t find a nicer place to shop.
