Scootic In Restaurant

Friendly staff, good prices, and food came out quick. Seating was a little crowded where I sat, but wasn’t a problem for me.

A super quaint spot right off main street. It was fairly slow when I got there but the staff was great and friendly. My food came fast and the drinks were on point.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! We drove up by chance, very friendly staff, quick service and good sized portions!

Great food, generous portions and lovely staff. This is the best place for a late lunch or dinner in Millinocket. The blackened haddock on rice with a creamy sauce was gorgeous, the clam chowder and chicken wings were fab.

Food was really good. Wish they had more selections for food but it's a really nice,friendly place. Definitely recommend for anyone who travels out of state to here. Absolutely love how you can customize your drinks also. Very pleased with the place and location. 100% would come back if I ever vist maine again.

From the outside it seems casual place and inside not a lot to look at as they are in middle of remodeling. But after having dinner there I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and professional staff were. Very accommodating and welcoming to visitors. The food tasted fresh and was hot. There are also several gluten free choices which makes it nice for those who have special diets. I definitely would return here again when in the area. Good prices and nice sized portions.

I visited Millinocket from Boston as part of my first trip to the interior of Maine; I know the coast quite well. I chose this restaurant because others where I stayed mentioned it, so I walked the quarter mile. I found a lively place with a varied group of diners, a mix of locals and travelers. I debated between the haddock sandwich and the taco salad. Feeling I needed some greens I opted for the latter. It did not disappoint. The salad was very good, an interesting blend of flavors, and the service too was very good. I highly recommend it.

Very nice, warm atmosphere, Stephanie was very good at her job. Everything was clean and the food was tasty.

I visited twice on our stay and ordered different dishes each time. As an appetizer, the bacon-wrapped scallops were a hit. The entrees of pizza and scallops over rice were all good. Spectacular bar selection as well.

This place was greater than the sum of its parts. The food was ok. The chicken parm portion was large, but the pasta had clearly been sitting in a big pot of water for a long time. Service was good. All around a great meal after a long day of hiking.

Breaded mushrooms were excellent..restaurant was very clean..food was great..the waitress was professional and very helpful.

The Scootic is a nice, little, hometown restaurant. The service was good and the food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed our meal at the Scootic, the blacken haddock was our favorite entree and the bacon wrapped scallops were awesome!

As an out of town hiker, I get the impression this is the place to go to. It has a lot of small-town charm friendly people and good service. And it's just a short little walk from the two hostels slightly up the hill for us Backpackers

Hearty, tasty food after hiking all day. Staff was amazingly friendly. Went here to eat both nights of our vacation. Highly recommend!

Very decent food, service friendly!!! It was the only restaurant open in the area when we visited, thankfully. Had lunch there every day.

I'm pretty obviously queer, so when adventuring in new small-rural towns like Millinocket, Maine - I have some understandable trepidation and nervousness. The Scootic In and it's staff wiped those anxieties away and provided a safe, fun and tasty experience.

Convenient to Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin, Appalachian Trail hikers can find the Scootic across from the Outfitters and Hostel. The space allows for a quiet evening alone or a welcoming crowd will to accept and welcome in transient hikers.

The Scootic In is and remains one of the greatest highlights of my time hiking in Maine.

Friendly staff! Delicious Blackened Haddock!!! If I went back there I would try a shrimp dish too as it looked delicious on my way out the door. We spent our whole day hiking in Baxter State Park and pulled into this restaurant at 8:00 at night. Our food was so delicious I wanted to hug the cook. I would eat here again and again if I lived here!

Great place! Plenty of seating. Friendly and helpful staff were very attentive. Never waited for anything.
The Greek salad with salmon was amazing! Can tell the dressing is home made!
