Nice and quiet, homey feel! Their bread for toast is so good! Everything was cooked perfectly and the home fries were super crispy and delicious too. All of the staff were super friendly ☺

I stopped in here to learn more and have breakfast. I had biscuts and gravy. Toy taste not as good as southern biscuts and gravy. Just my taste though. Every where in the northern states it is different. The ceiling tiles are signed by people who through walked the Appalachian trail
They have a neat coffee cup so I bpught one as I have walked part of the trail but not all of it.

Love these small quaint restaurants
It was busy but the staff was very attentive and friendly
The homemade donuts and bread was yummy
Tots were delicious too!
Loved the writing on the ceiling of all the AT trail names- so cool.

We have enjoyed the few times we've been in to eat or taken out donuts. It's a small place with not much walking room, but definitely worthwhile for a quick breakfast in Millinocket!

This place us as authentic as it gets. A true taste of Maine from the homemade molasses donuts to the blueberry pies! Everything is authentic old world Maine here! I especially like their vegetarian choices, and very much enjoyed their bean and cheese burrito. But everything here is amazing it's to die for! They allow the people who walked the Appalachian Trail to sign their ceiling tiles which is wicked cute. They have a super duper big ice cream sundae which if you eat all of it, you get a prize. This is a must try Restaurant for that Maine experience!

Great food, friendly staff, and an exciting vibe from all the ceiling tiles with the "autographs" of hundreds of AT finishers. Get the donuts - they're legendary. Millinocket is a special place, and the AT Cafe is a big reason for it. NOTE: the Cafe has been closing in mid-October through the winter, so call ahead to be sure it's open!

Wonderful atmosphere and good foods. Omelettes are yummy and infinite coffee cup refill will keep you going on morning hikes. The cafe is full of hikers. You can get some valuable information about trails too. The stuff was friendly and toilets were clean.

The food was great minus the onions in EVERYTHING. Good service, clean and cozy. I personally dislike onions ALOT!!

Thumbs up to the AT Cafe for some tasty post-summit brunch. It was recommended to us by Baxter staff, and was exactly what we were dreaming of. Diner-style, homemade food. Place was full of locals. If you don’t like it that’s on you, they are fantastic.

Friendly staffs and enough portion of homemade foods are so great. Just before or after hiking, you should go here.

Quick service and really good food. I had the Mexican burrito with tots. The atmosphere is great as a trail/hiker cafe. A friend had the blueberry pancakes and they were so thick and heavy (in a good way) that I ate one. It was wonderful.

I am so in love with this Mexican food transition!! Asher created a menu with something for everyone. I am so grateful Appalachian Trail Cafe brought something different locally for all of us to enjoy. So far, I love the chicken quesadilla, roasted corn salad, carne asada fries, and west coast burrito. I eat here a minimum of once a week and have tried at least a bite of almost EVERYTHING! There are a couple things I’m looking forward to trying soon. Also, can we make your Boston cream donuts a permanent Sunday doughnut?! Seriously!!

EXCELLENT service and outstanding food! Ordered steak and cheese wrap which was delicious! Loved the ceiling tiles, which are signed by thru-hikers on the AT! Will definitely return!

Adorable spot. Visited on the Fourth right before the town had a parade to celebrate. Lea is fantastic! I sat at the counter and ordered a coffee and breakfast plate with a homemade english muffin. Would love to visit again :)

The Tots Poutine is absolutely delicious. Full of flavor and very hearty. The molasses and squash donuts were tasty as well and gigantic. The service here is very friendly and attentive
