A nice downhome American type place. They serve typical comfort fare at decent prices. The burgers are big and juicy and definitely hit the spot!

Definitely recommend eating here! I came for dinner with my boyfriend while on a little vacation and we were both so pleased with our meals. I ordered the sirloin tips with a side of green beans, a baked potato, and a glass of wine. My boyfriend ordered the seasoned house steak with a side of coleslaw, onion rings, and a beer. The green beans were canned, but the steaks were super delicious and tender and we enjoyed the sides overall, too. All of that for less than $70 including tip!

Very down-to-earth rural restaurant. The staff was attentive and courteous. The decor was themed to the name of the restaurant. There was a good selection on the menu. We arrived early in the day and got seated right away. As we dined the restaurant got more and more busy. Clearly a favorite for many people.

Awesome place to eat we. are close to trying everything on the menu but the Cactus chicken is the best and the service is amazing! The only thing I would recommend is a stamp card so customers that eat there frequently can get something free after eating in or take out so many times 🤗

My sister and I vistited the Chuck Wagon this past Monday. I have been wanting to visit this restaurant since leaving home (Livermore Falls, Maine), over 30 years ago. This wonderful restaurant holds the most precious and sacred memories to me as a child growing up, as my grandmother would bring us to the Chuck Wagon for breakfast a few times a week. I remember the waitresses would let us play the juke box, and bring us cups of hot cocoa topped with whipped cream.
It was nice to see that despite all of the changes and hustle and bustle, that this most cherished establishment has remained frozen in a kinder, gentler time. I am most excited to share that even in 30+ years I have been away, the Chuck Wagon will never disappoint, from the authenticity of the lovely wait staff, to the exceptional food.
We both ordered the Fish and Chips, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The staff was very accommodating, as I mentioned to them what a special occasion this was for me. Our waitress Lilly was an absolute delight, with a huge smile, and was attentive/yet respectful of our wanting to savor our visit. I did not get the name of our hostess, but she was the sweetest and brought the staff to sing "Happy Birthday" to me with a piece of chocolate cream pie!
I am so grateful tobe able to share such a wonderful experience in hopes that others will see how wonderful this place will ALWAYS be!

Pretty much everything was good, actually very good. From the Caesar salad and dinner rolls to the main meal. Mary had fish and chips and I had fried haddock shrimp and scallops. All the fried food was lightly battered and cooked to perfection, very tasty and moist. Mary usually doesn't like french fries but she ate every single one of these. The waitress was very friendly an answered all of our questions pleasantly. All the food came out right on time. We would definitely recommend the Chuck Wagon.

Wow. The fastest lunch we’ve gotten not at a fast food restaurant and the temperature and consistency of every morsel was better than hoped for. We enjoyed the atmosphere too.

Best steak in town hands down! Very friendly fast service!!! Very good prices.

Walk back in time by visiting the Chuck Wagon. I love this place. There's no place like it. A hometown restaurant that serves a decent meal at a decent price. The waitresses are super. Check out my picture of the famous Red Eye Lounge. By the way... Their prime rib is fantastic!

What a jewel of a place. I'm from Oklahoma and thought I had walked into a time warp that took me back home.

Amazing time... Absolutely a must to try... Great food, drinks, and Employees., Very Clean Friendly Atmosphere, Everyone was very Courtesy and Professional and We where asked often if you needed Anything. Centrally located on The Main Street .. Which makes the Location Perfect. Dishes where very clean, tables, floors and Restroom was Very Clean smelled clean but not a strong cleaning smell ... But pleasant clean smell and Clean in General. I highly recommend this Restaurant to Anyone looking for a fine dining experience or looking for a home cooked type meal, or you just want a Great burger... or Steak.. or whatever. Fine dining at a fractionof the Cost. . 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I give it 5 Stars .

Best food I’ve had at a dine in, hands down. Best Alfredo, amazing haddock, and great service ! I was so full but kept wanting to eat! amazing deserts as well. My picky eater of a son loved it too!. I highly recommend this place to anyone nearby

We may have been a little more rambunctious than the rest of the patrons, but none of the other customers nor the waitstaff gave any side eye. (I appreciated that considering I was the one *trying* to keep my family a little quieter.) The food was great and the service was good. The waitress worked hard to get my vegetarian sister's food right and it was perfect (gold star, lady!). It might have been a little slow, but that's why we ended up with a second round of drinks. It looked like they may have been doing more takeout than seated service. The kitchen was very full of staff. Everything about this restaurant brings back memories of years and years of going with my family. The decor is updated but also holds many of the staples (sad the wagon wheels are gone from the chandeliers) I remember my entire life. If you want to go to a local restaurant that is fully entwined in a community that has great service and food, this is the one. The cowboy theme still makes me smile. And cactus chicken is still my favorite thing on the menu! Close runner up is the Paradis burger.

Unreal spot, we heard it was the best restaurant in town, and I'd argue it IS the town.

STILL GREAT FOOD after more than 40 years.

The service was friendly they knew the menu and suggested things based on our likes and dislikes. The food came our hot off the grill and tasted presently good. The sides brought out more flavor to the meal. Good Cole slaw and the sweet potatoes fries were large, moist and easy to digest. I had to get a peanut putter pie to take home.

Waitress was super nice.
The food was amazing.
Can't wait to visit again!
