Wow! The food was amazing! Some of the best potatoes I’ve had in a long time, the serving size unbelievable! It’s nice to go somewhere that you can leave full and not break the bank. Facing the same troubles as most businesses these days they’re short on wait staff so be patient Trust me it’s worth it.

I visited twice during my time in town just for the country fried steak. Delicious!!!!! Great batter! Very charming place in a rustic way. Other diners were happy too!

Update. They have changed things up a bit. They are transitioning into a take out only restaurant in the future, but for now, they are still allowing indoor dining just without the wait staff. It is a get your own drink and sauce place, although a young lady brought our meal to our table and another came to the table and asked how our meal was. I did enjoy the food and am glad they are staying open even though they are having trouble finding servers. I think the take out place will work for people living close by, but not for everyone in the region.
Still, they have great food!

Great ceasar salad, very fresh, perfectly dressed. Food was HOT which was a wonderful surprise Cocktail menu new and interesting and all wonderful. Service good, staff very friendly. Will definitely go back and try more menu choices. Thanks for a great late lunch!

This place has great BBQ food directly from the outdoor grill, outdoor seating, air conditioning on the inside for seating and prices are reasonable too.

I drove up from Auburn yesterday, people say gas is high, up n back used a 1/4 tank was surely worth the smoked BBQ chicken, Mac n cheeses stringy cheese could be more moist, best chicken since I was in Florida many years ago from a smoke house.
Totally worth the gas and miles, I will be back, enjoying the left over breast tonight for dinner..

This place has great barbeque! I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they make hush puppies which are really good. I had a BBQ platter and it's hard to pick a favorite but the chicken was super tender and delicious!

I was visiting my parents in the Farmington area and we were looking for a place to eat to celebrate their anniversary and Father's day. Grantlee's came up in a Google search and both of my parents said they had not been there in a while, so we decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with our dinner. My wife had the smoked Chicken plate and said it was excellent, great smoke flavor and a nice pink smoke ring. The chicken skin wasn't very crispy, but still had great flavor. My father had the ribeye special and he said it was fantastic, cooked just as he liked it, medium rare. My mother had the fried haddock, and absolutely loved it. I had the BBQ platter with chicken as an add on. This was no disappointment, the flavor was outstanding, great smoke ring and flavor here too. The portions on all the meals were well worth the money. They had posted on Facebook that they needed to increase the cost of their meals to offset the rising costs, I completely understand this and the rise in cost still has them cheaper than other BBQ places, especially for how much you get. If you are on your way to Sugarloaf or just in the area give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

The food was perfectly smoked & the bbq sauce was delicious not to salty which was the perfect balance to the smoked meats. I do wish our server was wearing a mask/ face shield. We dined outside on the patio in the sunshine, safe enough. Our server was very accommodating and engaging. Try this place out sooner than later. Currently open Thursday through Sun. We went for lunch & also brought home the "sampler plate" for dinner. A must try!

Nice little tavern with great service. More importantly though, the pulled pork is amazing! Not too smoky or drenched in BBQ sauce, just naturally smoky and moist with a deep flavor. The burgers are delicious and well made. Definitely worth the stop!

Had an excellent ribeye steak this afternoon. I asked for medium rare, more toward the rare side, and it was PERFECT! The vole slaw and the grilled asparagus that accompanied the steak were equally delicious.

Our food was amazing! One girl working the floor and bar, like everywhere in these times they are looking for help, but that girl was absolutely great! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Great barbecue with their own smoker! Spicy and non spicy options I go with the mild options because I'm not a fan of spicy. My sister lives near this restaurant too so its an easy choice when we decide to have barbecue when I visit her. There is also an Ice cream shop right next door for desert!

Food was delicious. Had the BBQ sampler. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken. I couldn't eat it all but will finish at home. I would recommend this place if you want bbq

Great pulled pork and brisket. Large portions for the price paid and always great service. One of my favorite places to eat anywhere in Maine.

Great place. Food is amazing. Just ate there. We try to have lunch once a wk there, very inexpensive lunches. Ask about the fried pickles. Best we ever had. Yummy!!

Great smoked meat especially for this far north. Very hard to find good pulled pork, ribs or brisket in Maine. They do it up right here.

Small but pleasant dining room and bar area. Outside deck for good weather. Civil war motif, had the brisket and pulled pork which were very good!

The service was friendly, the waitress was new but she was on top of every thing. The food was delicious! Can't wait to make our way back through Farmington!
