The Fluttering Duck

Free parking across the street. You have your choice of dining in or outside. Very classy atmosphere and friendly wait staff. I ordered the Creamy Mushroom Soup and Chicken Alfrado. Food was filling and full of flavor. Fairly priced.

Recently revised menu, which is a nice improvement - so I'll round up vs down. They now have a decent number of mocktails on the menu, one of the few places in town that has any listed.

Amazing food as always. Staff are so great. The shrimp burrito bowl is so good. So are there pretzel sticks and cheese curds. Oh my God those cheese curds are so good.

Tucked away on DePauw's campus is thus6 great little restaurant. Lots of variety on the menu and everything is great. Highly recommend the funnel fries for dessert.

Wonderful place for lunch - not too busy since Depauw classes are winding down for summer. Everyone's food was tasty and fresh (I had a Caprese Panini.) The wait staff did not pester us but provided what we needed promptly. We sat outside under the pergola which filtered out some of the sun so we were comfortable. All areas I visited were handicap-accessible including the restrooms.

Very cozy and quiet. Slipping into fall, we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on our first visit. This area is shaded, so I would imagine timing of the weather is going to be important if you choose to eat out of doors. Located off the busy streets with people walking by, just chatting and not rushing around. Reminded me of a small European sidewalk cafe. I ordered the hamburger, the Mrs. ordered a pull pork bbq sandwich, and we both had the home made chips as our sides. Both of our meals were good. If you like your bbq sandwich swimming in sauce, suggest asking for an additional side of sauce. Staff was pleasant and attentive, we will certainly come back and try their steaks and sea food.

My girlfriend and I were staying at the Inn and figured we'd just dine in since this place is attached to the hotel. The food was absolutely divine, and the service was enthusiastic and attentive! If you're staying at the hotel or nearby and are looking for a high quality meal this is definitely worth checking out.

Nice place, booze prices are extremely reasonable for being attached to a hotel. They have about 5-6 beers on tap, mostly domestic. And blue moon which I like. And they got the most interesting tap I've ever seen. Just don't poke your finger thru the bottom, because the tap fills from the bottom and there is a magnetic ring that seals your beer from poring all over your lap.. don't ask me how I know that.

Great atmosphere and even better food. Had the beer battered shrimp, shrimp tacos and breaded tenderloin at our table and it was all very good. Definitely worth checking out.

Great food, fun, warm, welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. The drinks are wonderful and the staff is top notch! I have been here several times and always received excellent service.

Stopped by the other day for dinner for the first time and the food was delicious. Our waiter was super friendly and nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

We are staying at the Inn at DePauw and The Fluttering Duck is adjacent to the Inn. Contrary to previous reviews, the service and food was great! The Server who is discussed in previous reviews, is NO longer employed at the Fluttering Duck! We'd agree that this establishment has all it's "Ducks in a Row"

I loved the Fluttering Duck! 100% recommend trying this restraunt. My burger was melt in my mouth, my fries were crispy, and the service was great!

Great place, good atmosphere and decent food. Met my husband here almost 18 years ago when I used to work in the kitchen. Lol

I was staying on campus. Sat at the bar for three evenings in a row. Great welcome, would definitely recommend.

My first visit...our waitress was excellent! My breaded tenderloin was great. We had fast service and with a smile! Very clean!
