Cheese House

A wonderful cheese house. These are one of the cheese houses that makes pinconning the cheese capital of Michigan. Lots to offer here and to sample. Stop in it's just off the expressway at exit 181. Have cheeses aged from 18 years 13 years super sharp to extra sharp to mild sharp and cheddar's. Many different kinds of curds too. Very nice selection of wine also. I stopped in the evening and Shenandoah was working and was very helpful and kind.

I love cheese. So of course I had to stop. It was a childhood memory of my spouse, whose father would always stop off here on there way "up north" to see family. Their Xtra Xtra sharp cheddar is the tops🧡🧡🧡

We love stopping here! We go everything we visit family. Great variety, great service, and excellent cheese! The veggie crackers and cherry bread are also delicious! And there's a huge selection of individually wrapped chocolates.

I recommend any of the smoked cheeses and the Pinconing cheese!

Don't drive to Pinconning, the best cheese is here! For the best cheese, have them cut it off the wheel for you. Always better than Williams and easy on and off the freeway. Make sure to get your Cheese House card for future discounts as well. Stop in, the people are great, the cheese is incredible, you won't be sorry you did.

One of those classic "going up north" stops, Cheese House is an easy off/easy on roadside attraction offering cheese, meats (think summer sausage and friends), maple syrup, and other fun items. They have plenty of cheese variety, a silly mouse outside you can take pictures with, working and clean bathrooms, and the best part of all, smiling faces inside who look like they are happy to help you!

They have a good variety of seasoned cheese (dill, garlic, jalapeno, etc.) Some local wines, jams, honey, meat sticks and jerky. All prepackaged. Friendly staff, and they keep store clean.

Fun little roadside shop with a wide variety of indulgences. Smoked fish, cured meats, lots of cheeses and candies. They've even got wine and beer, crackers and gifts. Many of the products are made on site or are made by local purveyors. Great place to stop for snacks.

Large selection of meats and cheeses available from cheese dips to freshly cut deli cheese, this place seems to have it all. They also have an assortment of sweets, candy and fudge.

Locally produced cheese, aged at varying amounts, some super young and others 25 years. It’s a tradition if you’re driving north on I 75 to stop and get some. Also recommend the smoked mozzarella sticks.

Amazing selection of local and imported cheese! They have sweet cheeses, candies, and wide variety of pickled vegetables and peppers.

What a cool place. While driving south from a weekend trip up north, found this place. Saw the billboard earlier and sounded interesting. A ton of items to shop. Reasonable prices. Walked out with several containers of cheese curds. Could have easily spent more.

I've been going here for over 40 years this ace is the best in the area. Great people with great food. Never pass exit 181 without stopping in.

Always stopped when traveling north,get a smoked chicken, some cheese curds and candy love the seame seed square candy but for last month every time we came in you have been out. We got everyone hocked on them so if they know we are going north or south our friends ask us to pick them also up a bag. But no luck can you please check on this and restock. Everyone was very friendly also,cute little shop.

This place is awesome, get the horseradish spread, it won’t disappoint. Definitely the best I have ever had hands down. We will always stop in on our way home when we go up north.

Pinconning Super Sharp, 13 year yellow, 13 year white, Spatz Bread, Backroad Country Twists... Doesn't get much better... Customer service here is to notch. Sample any of the open cheese blocks.

I've been going to Pinnconing nearly every summer since I was a kid. I'm 67 now, and I look forward to this trip every year. Nothing beats Pinnconing cheese. It's the best cheese ever! I treated myself this year with 10 year old aged cheese. YUMMY!!!

Delicious fresh and aged Pinconning Cheese and other cheeses in a variety of Sharpness. Candies and large variety of spreads and dips by the pound also Crackers pretzels etc... and gift boxes. Medium mild was my favorite and garlic herb spread is awesome too.

Great place to stop for those meaty cheesy snacks. Always love grabbing a treat when we pass by. Goblin Approved
