Millinocket Regional Hospital

Most wonderful ER and OR I have ever been to. They were so through and caring. I was so surprised at the through reports the nurses and others wrote. I had such caring people in surgery when I had a pain shot. I have never had such caring people in any hospital. Even though it is 30 miles from me I would rather go there than go to the local hospital which is 16 miles I would choose to go there again.

Couldn't breathe they helped so much. Really kind staff. And know hesitation. There really great there

I have had amazing care from MRH and would recommend care here to my family and friends.

Love love love Pat! She’s amazing! Helped get me into a regular workout routine and stretched out my hip helping me to prolong and avoid maybe even prevent me needing a hip replacement. Mary and Lori at the front desk are always helpful and knowledgable. The rehab facility in the back I’m just starting to use but they seemed very nice and helpful as well.

Staff were social and we were in/out in an hour. Granted it was only a fish hook in the arm. Hope we don't need to be back but will go again if needed.

The staff at MRH are caring ,compassionate and thoughtful.we are fortunate to have our own hospital in our own community. Excellent care. I would hate to have to travel to Bangor or Houlton in an emergency !

The nurses and doctors at Millinocket Regional Hospital have more compassion than I have ever seen in any other hospital. I will never forget their attentive and considerate care of my loved one - above and beyond anything I could have expected or imagined.

Pretty good for a regional hospital. .. I'm glad it's here.

Great staff, little wait, nice facility, and wonderful nurses. My only complaint is the parking lot, which needs to be fixed.

If you are in a very bad emergency you'll be better to go to St. Joeseph hospital or estern Maine medical center in Bangor. If you have a fever or hives just go to Millinocket regional hospital.

They don't care how much pain you are in. They don't want to talk to you or hear your symptoms. And sure as hell don't ask about the wait they will treat you like a nuisance . I ended up having to leave with no care.

My daughter suffered for almost 2 years. She had had endometriosis in the past as well as surgery. They sent her home in pain even when she was catatonic. They said she did Not have endometriosis. She finally went to the Endometriosis Center in Atlanta,Ga and had surgery. She had endometriosis in her pelvic area and intestines stuck to her bowel wall. I think they are the worst hospital we ever went to visit.

Neglectful, dangerous, dismissive, avoid at all costs.

They should be closed down for how they treat patients, they’re going to seriously hurt someone. I assume they already have.

On 7/18/2020 I drove to the walk in clinic to find it closed on a Saturday (which is ridiculous since they are only open during the same hours as a doctor during the week. I ended up going to the ER in Millinocket. The nurse that did my triage was extremely rude. She literally makes you feel like you are bothering her just by being there. No greeting at all. Very cold with not one ounce of empathy. She made no eye contact and coughed into her hands the whole time. She then put me in a room where I sat (in pain) for 45 minutes. Not one person even bothered to stick their head in to see how I was or to explain they would be in soon. The garbage was filled to the top with bloody bandages on top. There were also ants crawling on the floor. I took a picture of those things.
I ended up walking out. Not one person bothered to ask me why I was leaving. Never again!!!!! I will drive to anywhere else but there!!!!

This "hospital" is a joke. If you have a serious problem don't take chances with your life go elsewhere. Rude and uneducated staff

No physicians in the ER.
