GrandStay Hotel & Suites Montevideo

We were in town for a funeral. We had a pet in a pet friendly room but it was just like any other room. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean and organized. Very happy with our expereince. Breakfast was good. All was good.

Nice place to stay. Three functional chargers for EVs in the parking lot. One J1772 and two Tesla destination chargers. The Tesla chargers worked on my non-Tesla vehicle with a TeslaTap Mini adaptor.

This place was gem for a small town. Our suite was huge and loved the balcony that overlooked the pool. Only downfall was the breakfast...not much to choose from for the price we paid for the room. Overall, I would definitely stay here again but go out for breakfast. Great place to eat lunch or supper is Duffy's Good Time Saloon.

This was a great hotel - the check-in staff was super friendly! The facilities were very good. Great pool area. The breakfast could have been better .... out of a lot of food and we were not at the end of the breakfast time. Would stay here again.

The facilities, cleanliness were superb with an exemplary staff with a concern of a enjoyable stay.

Only decent hotel to stay at in Montevideo, MN.
Could use some updates....new toilets in the bathrooms, convert
air conditioner/heat units to work with a wall thermostat....
otherwise always found this hotel to be clean and comfortable.

I stay in a lot of hotels, and this one ranks right up there with the best!

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this hotel since it's located so far from any major city. However, I completely underestimated this hotel! It was nicer than most hotels in the city! It was extremely clean, spacious, comfortable, and the staff was great! The rooms were clean and LARGE! The bed was SO comfortable! If I had to make ONE change it would be to allow access to Netflix. They do offer cable with TONS of channels along with HBO so it was completely satisfying. I will absolutely stay here again! I was very very impressed.

GrandStay Hotel in Montevideo MN is designed with curved halls to feel cozy. The lobby has a helpful map of the city showing places to visit and to eat. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. I like the triple mirror in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast menu offered choices of cold and hot breakfast foods. Coffee was available at all hours. I saw that they have solar panels to offset the Hotel's electricity usage.

What a lovely hotel with friendly staff who were there with a smile each time we need them. Clean fresh rooms and a great breakfast. Just need music in the breakfast room, it's a little quite.

Great place to stay for either a family or working travel. Rooms were clean along with all common areas. Breakfast was very good and it varied daily. Staff was helpful and very pleasant to work with.

Very nice, clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel. Dog friendly as well which is great when we travel with our old girl. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice room. Helpful check in attendant. Be aware, they do have smoking rooms. I accidentally booked the wrong room type, but the desk was able to work it out. Good breakfast too. Strong coffee, french toast and rather tasty biscuit gravy.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Nice pool. Whirlpool could be a bit hotter. Sevice is top knotch. When I needed anything the cleaning ladies were right on it & with a smile. The ladies behind the service desk were very professional yet extremely friendly. Breakfast each day was terrific. Large area to eat. Beautiful fireplace & cozy area to sit & visit. Again, very clean rooms & swimming area & the kitchenet was superbly clean. I'd recommend to everyone. That is to everyone who can afford it. The price for a room was pretty high especially for a small town like Montevideo.

My significant other stays here weekly for work and he never complains. The staff is very friendly, and he actually made friends with a few. I also stay here once in a while with my significant other and I don't have any complaints. Everything in the room seems up to date, it's clean, nice environment, nice pool, big yard out in back to play yard games.

Rooms are comfy and clean, the pool is awesome, and the hot tub is a welcome sight after a long day of traveling. They put on a great breakfast in the morning as well. You really can't go wrong staying here.

Really nice hotel! The staff treated us like family. There was only 2 problems: 1 The hotel was filled, so our room we wanted was booked the first day, but luckily we got it the second- 5th day, and 2 no elevator, but no biggie. Would recommend if you are visiting from out of town!

Three chargers for electric cars. Large warm pool. Hot, hot tub. Solar panels to generate power for the hotel. Great backyard patio tables, at Cetera. Comfortable room and beds. Very clean. Lovely lobby with a fireplace and comfortable furniture. And quiet.

It's an amazing hotel. Front desk person was amazing, room was amazing, everything was amazing. We will be back!
