I cannot say enough about what a great experience we had with Wayne up at Acme this past weekend. I got it in my head that I wanted a Yamaha Stratoliner 1900 and there were two places in NH that each had one in inventory. The first was a dealership in Pembroke that we love going to and the other was Acme. So, Saturday morning, we hooked up the trailer and headed over to Pembroke to see if we could get our hands on their Strat. Unfortunately, we got there just in time to find the bike in the "Sold" section of the floor. So, on a lark, we decided to just go ahead and drive up to Meredith and check out Acme since we had never been. In a boneheaded move, though, I completely neglected to check the hours of operation on Acme's website...oops!

We arrived at the facility at around 1345 and realized very quickly that they were already closed. I was bummed and a little frustrated at myself for making such a long drive without doing my homework. While my wife and I were sitting there in the truck commiserating over the blunder, up walks Wayne. Through the window, he shook my hand, introduced himself, and offered to open up the shop for us so we could take a look at the bike. Instant respect!

Long story short, we loved the bike, bought it on the spot, and took her home. (Had to ditch the fairing bra and swap out the tall windshield, though!) It was a very good deal for the bike (excellent condition with only 12k on the clock) and Wayne was amazingly helpful and professional throughout the process. I've been riding and wrenching on bikes for over 30 years and have been around my share of salesmen and gearheads of all types. Visually, I don't fit the stereotype of a "biker" so I often get labeled the moment I walk into a dealership. Wayne is the real deal. He showed my wife and I respect, and very much earned ours in return. Thanks for the experience, Wayne! We will absolutely keep an eye on your inventory and services should we need anything else.

I traded in my Softail for a road king with Acme Bikes. Casey was my salesman, he was great to work with and the entire process was a great experience overall (especially compared to a Harley dealership). It being the winter time, they trailered the new bike to my house and picked up my Softail, which is much appreciated. To anybody looking to buy a bike from a dealership, I recommend Acme.

I've been struggling to get good service in the area. Local motorcycle dealerships only offer inspections on a first come first serve basis two days a week and then only if the one person they have to do inspections isn't out. Since the dealership couldn't take care of me, I called ACME on a Friday morning to see if there might be more reliable availability. Wayne told me he could help me after 2PM so I told him I'd be there. He asked for the make and model of the bike, which I thought curious. Unfortunately, due to an issue at work I couldn't get there until 4:50PM. I needed the sticker and I felt bad I was keeping them late on a beautiful Friday (80+ degrees in May). It might as well have been an inspector inspecting their kid's bike at 9:00AM on a Monday. The technician came out and went over the bike with a fine tooth comb and told me exactly how much life I likely had on tires, brakes, cables, and pointed out which fasteners I should be checking. He asked questions about handling and braking that were specific to known issues with my make and model and offered up advice on maintenance. Clearly they did their research before I rolled in. Usually I feel like I am paying an inspection fee to the state just for the right to ride my bike legally. This time I feel like it was money well spent getting an informed second opinion on where I stood from a safety perspective, and what I should be planning for maintenance wise for next season.

You will only hear good things about ACME Bikes. You want quality work and/or quality bikes you have to go to the best and as most of you already know they are the best. Finding a team of people that truly care about their quality of work is rare in this world. Especially nowadays. Don’t hesitate. Get your spot with them. They book up quick.

I went in to see if they had a clutch pedal cause mine stripped. They didn't have the same one and for good reason, mine was junk from china. So they went out of their way at that moment to go into the spare parts section and find, as well as put together, a HD one they had. So awesome! These guys definitely know motorcycles and cars too!
