Salvatores of the Hamptons

Great place for a grab.
Prices are average for the area, service was good, as of mid July 2021 they are still observing Covid restrictions and social distancing requirements, to the good and bad of it - if you like your space you definitely got it, but we for example got seated (outside, according to our choosing) by what used to be a way in and out from the street to the restaurant and were annoyed by customers insisting on taking the short way out right through our table, instead of going through the parking lot (so just watch where you’re being seated). The inside of the restaurant was full of petitions.

When you go there - you should definitely try one of their pizzas. If not as your main then at least as a starter at the center of the table. They are amazing! Note that out pizzas came out significantly later than the mains.

Good cocktails, overpriced in my opinion.

Overall and taking everything in consideration - it’s a 5 stars spot. If I pass by the area again I’ll definitely stop for a quick grab.

Tonight we decided to go to Salvatores for an early dinner. We sat at one of the tables with the wall bench seat. The table for 2 is a nice sized table and comfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant is is comfortable with Italian bistro and a sense of being in Italy is surely felt.

Our waitress, Melissa was wonderful and did a great job handling our table. Also, our server Sam was really great. His excitement for the restaurant and the food they offer was getting our attention. He highly recommended the crazy Alfredo (penne, chicken, so untried tomatoes in a creamy Alfredo sauce) which was so delicious and packed some heat! He also recommended the spaghetti with shrimp pesto which was truly amazing! The pesto was light but packed a nice blend of basil, garlic, oil and a touch of creaminess too!

We also had (2 nights before came in for dessert) the cheesecake and the tiramisu which were both amazing.

We were glad to choose Salvatores for dinner and will be frequent patrons.

That also have a nice bar fully stocked where you can sit and have dinner as well…. Try the Philly cheesesteak!!

Lovely local restaurant. Good food. Excellent service. Our server, Julia was as sweet as could be. She made sure our order was hot and got it to our table quickly AND with a smile. The pizza is always excellent. We had lasagna and eggplant parmigiana which were just wonderful. Try it. Ask for Julia or one of the other lovely young people on the wait staff. You won’t be disappointed.

Have been there 3 times and each time was enjoyable. The food is very good. We had Chicken Marsala and Francese which was good. The next time we had the Grandma's pizza with broccoli rabe and sausage which was excellent and the last time we tried the pastas one with clam sauce and the other with broccoli and sausage which also were very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We moved into the neighborhood about 6 months ago and our family is somewhat challenged with boys on the autism spectrum. We were looking for a regular restaurant to frequent every Sunday after church and someone recommended Salvatores. We have only missed a few Sundays at Salvatores since then! The food is outstanding and the service is warm and friendly. They really make us feel comfortable and Caleb is a fabulous server! I can't recommend Salvatores enough. Try it and you, too, will probably want to eat there every Sunday as well.

Our annual visit to the Hamptons included this pleasant experience.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by lovely Christina who sat us promptly. The pizzas were delicious and came out promptly. Next time, we will try the entrees. A must try in Hampton Bays.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. I was very impressed! The service was quick And food was excellent! We both took half our meals home. Will definitely be visiting again!

Stopped in for lunch between travel baseball games and practices with our 3 kids. We were greeted by a smiling hostess, had a great waiter, and the food was delicious! Great music and overall atmosphere too!!! We will definitely be back!

Came here on 1/1, the environment was amazing, with live music. The waiter was very attentive. It was an amazing lunch to start the year.

Best place in Hampton bays!! We were greeted so graciously and felt so comfortable. Drinks are amazing on their menu. Service was great. We loved the Margherita pizza and meatball appetizer.

Excellent thin crust brick oven pizza. I tried several different pizza's and each one exploded with flavor. My favorites are the meat, sausage and pepper and clam. Attractive interior, comfortable seats and TV's to watch sports at the enormous bar. Friendly staff and great service. A must try if you're in the Hamptons.

Lovely atmosphere, the staff is attentive without being overly pushy and in your face. The food was is great! I finally found a local Italian restaurant that knows how to make eggplant rollitni. Looking forward to returning soon!

This place NEVER disappoints. Everything I've ever gotten, from the pizza, to the specials, are always delicious and well portioned. The staff is courteous and it's a really pleasant experience from start to finish.

Probably my favorite restaurant in the area! Food is amazing. Whenever I have guest from out of town we say we'll go someplace else to change it up a bit but someone mentions Salvatores and we end up going back again haha.

This place is a gem... don't let the cool decor fool you! Everything we ordered was good. Great menu lots of choices wish I had pictures next time ...

We went on Monday night, sat at the bar with the great bartender Star. He already knew I was drinking Pinot Grigio which is always a plus to have your drink already poured. We had the margarita square pie and an arugula salad. We r Italians from Brooklyn and we have to say this pie was better than all the pizza we ever had. Delicious!!!!! Going back this weekend Great job sal!!!!!

Hello to all my followers!!!

Today I finally got three chance to stop into a local spot in Hampton Bays vaulted Salvatores. Third was formally known add The Standard and they recently made a change. I noticed they head a sign outside showing that the offered brunch on Saturday and Sunday so I wanted to give it a try.

When you walk in, you see a very nicely decorated italian restaurant. I immediately noticed there tile work and bar, the paintings on the wall and every large wheel of parmigiana reggiano cheese display for their use. Grana Padano of course.

We sat at a nicely decorated t ac blue with white linen napkins with red stripes, salt and pepper, a cute "oil can" for the olive oil, utensils and glasses. The linen table cloth was covered by a sheet of white paper.

Since this was our first time here, I figured that I would listen to what ourvwaiter Ralph had for suggestions.

Ralph greeted us nicely and started to educate us on his favorite and on the things I was interested in.

We started off with the egg white omelette with basil, spinach and cheese. The omelette came out piping hot in a nice round baking dish. We shared that as a starter, which was plenty for the 2 of us. Itching was light and delicious!

My wife had a beautiful avocado toast, check out the pics, she loved it! I decided to go for the lemon ricotta pancakes which for me was a tough decision, but Ralph told me to go for it, the lemon taste would not be overwhelming. (You see, some things I just like untouched...pancakes with butter and syrup). Well, Ralph was right on. The pancakes, served with almond butter (another stretch for me) and syrup were just delicious. There were 3 light and fluffy pancakes with an interesting crunch on the outside...excellent.

After eating, I got up to check out the front where their wood pizza oven is and their pizza selections. Wow wow! Their set up is awesome, the pizzas looked amazing, I can't wait to try that on my next drive by!!!

I highly recommend Sals, come out to Hampton bays for a nice brunch or pizza/ dinner. You shouldn't be disappointed! I LOVED IT And Ralph did great job too!
