It's one of my favorite caves I have been in. Staff was very knowledgeable about everything about the cave. I took the 1 hour scenic tour, and it was just enough. It was fun to look down the gaps where the advanced climbing tour would go. It is a little dark and slippery in places, so make sure you have good shoes and can stay balanced. Wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Wonderful experience! A must see if you live in the northern part of US. We took the scenic guided tour since our bunch had 3 toddlers who weren’t allowed to go on other rides. But it was amazing.
Tour is for 1 hour and the guide did a comprehensive explanation on the geological evolution that had happened underneath, inside the caves and the experience of walking in the natural and man made paths is definitely memorable.
This tour is accessible for wheelchair or strollers, which is a plus and you’re not allowed to take any snacks, drinks, gum, or backpacks.
Only request is to leave the place as is when you’re in the tour in order to preserve the caves for generations to come.

Fabulous experience. We arrived around 930am. For a tour starting at 10. Our guide was wonderful and answered every question my 7yr old had. We were not able to use our carriers for the 2 and 3 year olds but they offer strollers to use for free. We also had a 5 and 6 year old with and everyone really enjoyed the tour. It held all of our attention. As we left around noon after having a picnic lunch there were a lot more visitors arriving. I imagine the tours do book up so arrive early.

This visitor center was so informative to me. I learned a lot by looking at the various artifacts and reading information about Mystery Cave. The small gift/souvenir shop held gorgeous rocks, gems, and minerals. Loved the layout of everything. The staff was kind. My friends and I tried to add on two more tickets to the tour we were planning on taking that afternoon and were told that the tour was already fully booked. They were so nice however, and got us in the following morning so we could all participate. One staff member who I interacted with was a geologist, who told me all about the minerals I was purchasing at the time. Awesome place!

Such a fun experience! I thought my anxiety would take away from the fun, but the caves are so peaceful! If you are afraid of heights, I would suggest having someone to guide you over the grates so you don't see down or use the railings to help you get across faster. They are currently only doing scenic tours. We will definitely be going back for the geologic and photography (I think that's what it's called) tours!

Informative. (I wouldn't go if you don't plan to tour the caves though)

Everyone was friendly, things were clean, and the cave tour was really nice. I'd love to spend many more hours in there taking pictures and exploring. Well worth the trip.

Our guide was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and it was easy to tell she enjoyed sharing it with us, but in a way that was fun and easy to understand.

This was great to explore before the cave tour. There was photos of parts of tge cave that was not in our cave tour and also more items of history involving the cave and people involved with the cave.
