The Lakeview Tavern

While vacationing in New Hampshire, we went to dinner at the Lakeview Tavern. We were seated and served promptly. The food was good, and our server was pleasant. In the end, we were happy we chose to go to dinner here. The place was busy and it seemed like most, if not all the other customers here were from the area.

Quickest service , drinks were soooo good, the staff is so nice!! Chicken is really good, and I’m very picky with my chicken since I’m a flexitarian, loved the food here

Great little place to have a few drinks and play some pool, fooseball or darts, listen to music, and relax and conversate with the locals and/or their small, but fabulous, personable, all around awesome staff. Some just come in to grab a quick bite to eat. Either way, you will be pleased you went. Their drink prices, as well as dining prices are very reasonably priced and very generous portions and quality. A while back, my husband, brother in law, and myself, went there on a whim one Saturday night, and we have been going back, recommending and bringing others, as often as we can.

This is my favorite restaurant. The staff is fun and happy. The mixed drinks are perfect and OMG the French Fries are hand cut! I’ve never had a bad meal. Never disappointed. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thanks Lake View Tavern (I even celebrated my birthday there)

Just came here to get a drink definitely liked the fruit punch looking drink the mojito was k but I always go for fruity drinks and eat something salty but not this time.

Aiden was wonderful - service excellent. Ashley made the best veggie pizza!

Beautiful location. Casual but super clean. This is one of the few restaurants with consistently great food. The owners are sweet and hard working and the staff is great. Lindsey is an awesome bartender: friendly and knows exactly how to handle a busy rush. Stop in for food and drinks and chat with the colorful locals. If someone in your party is vegan, they’ll hook you up too.

This place was a GEM! Visiting the area, we left Twins Barnes Brewing without ordering dinner due to HORRIBLE service. Drove down the road hungry and looking for a place to eat. Let me tell you...This place was friendly, had prompt service, our food was great and reasonably priced! Don't miss out stopping here!

The waitress was funny and a great waitress The food choice was limited due to it was in the evening. They were out of most side choices. They didn't have Coleslaw, onions rings, any potatoe products or outif salad too. But they had FF. The haddock looked delicious that others ordered. I was surprised by the enxtra large serving size. I got a steak and cheese sub. It was excellent. I would eat here again.

I always pass by and have never gone in. Today, I went in for lunch around 11:30. It wasn’t very busy so my friend and I sat at the bar. The owner was friendly. He cane right over and started talking to us. I had a mixed drink, and my friend had beer. We enjoyed both. I started with a broccoli cheddar soup, which was good, but I thought it needed more cheddar. For lunch, I had a hotdog special they were running, which was wrapped in bacon and smothered in nacho cheese sauce: delicious. A side salad completed my meal. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and I’ll be going back in the summer.

I've been coming to Lakeside Tavern for a few months now on Sunday to watch football, eat, and enjoy Karaoke with Center Stage DJ's Rick and Maria. The food is great, very friendly servers, and the entertainment was Awsome. Singing and dancing from 7 - 11 or after on Sunday night. Highly recommended.

Was looking for a place to "get out of the house" while vacationing near Meredith. Stumbled upon this place while Google searching. Second time here this week! Decent beer tap selection. Very good mixed drinks. The food is also very good! I highly recommend the shrimp scampi. My boyfriend highly recommends the Reuben. We will definitely be back when were in the area. )

The staff worked so hard. Full house 2 waitstaff who were also the bartenders!

The Lakeview Tavern is a friendly, down home eatery, with good home cooking. The apple pie was an award winner, and the serving staff as friendly and accommodating as it gets. Don’t miss this restaurant in Meredith.

My husband got steak tips that literally melted in his mouth. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and it was absolutely delightful as well! Waitress convinced us to try the fried oreos.. needless to say they too were incredible! Game was on, music was just right, the food was awesome, and the service was spot on! Best place in Merideth

Ordered the Corned Beef Reuben. The meat was tender and juicy with melted swiss, sour kraut, and 1K island dressing on fresh marble rye bread. Amble side of fries with a nice crispy coating, having just the right amount of oil. My son ordered the Chicken Parm Sandwich which he took 1/2 home for work the next day; said it was delicious and filling!

Great food and Service. Beer was cold too. I had the fried Haddock, crunchy Beer Batter, fresh grease too. Friendly, Excellent

We had a great time at The Lakeview Tavern. Our food was yummy and the people were very friendly. We also did their Sunday night karaoke. The entertainment was so fun for a local eatery.

The brilliance and love of life of the owners of Lakeview Tavern are reflected in the clean, crisp, well-designed and engineered atmosphere conducive to good conversation, an excellent game of foosball, a competitive game of pool, some darts and awesomely delicious snacks, lunch and dinner. When I lunched solo, I thoroughly enjoyed feasting on the fresh, jumbo shrimp. I, also, dove into a great mini-burger which was cooked to my idea of perfection. When I returned with my neighbors and buddies, we enjoyed, on several occasions, some refreshing bottles of the best beer on the market and delicious fries. The owners, who are around much of the time to play host to you and encourage intelligent, engaging conversation, are some of the nicest people on earth. Enjoy your visit and catch a slice of Meredith, an up and coming cool town, thanks to investors like these Tavern owners, Maria and Mark.

Had a great experience. The bartender Wendy was so friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious and the drinks perfect! Great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Would definitely recommend!
