Surfside Burger Bar

This place has an awesome vibe. The food came out quickly and was super flavorful and perfectly prepared. Tried 3 burgers and the Mac and cheese bites loved everything!

Good burgers.
Tons of options, you can have a triple cheeseburger on grilled cheese, with pretty much anything you'd want on a burger, if you so desire.
They have non beef options as well.
Plenty of options for sides, fries, tots, rings, fried cheese curds, fried pickles, fried Mac and cheese.
Their sauces are great, they have a made in house spicy ranch type sauce that I'd put on pretty much anything.

The girls that work the restaurant are rock stars, it's pretty much always the same girls.

Atmosphere is cool, inside and outside eating areas, good music.
They definitely could use more inside seating, but there really isn't space for it.
The metal stools could use cushions, but that's being nitpicky.

Cool place, highly recommend.

Late November, coming home from my birthday weekend in the White Mountains, I wanted a burger. Knowing we'd be passing through Meredith, I told my wife to search for burgers in Meredith. Surfside came up with many good reviews. She read off some of their burgers, and I was drooling by the combinations they create. We got there and saw they had outdoor seating available. Why not! So we sat in the (heated) igloo outside. My wife told our server it was my birthday. I wish I caught her name, as I'd love to give her a shout out! The server was absolutely wonderful, and brought me a Surfside hat, sticker, pin, and some other small goodies. But that wasn't even the best part! It's a 45 minute drive to get back there, and every day I now have to debate going just to have another burger - it was THAT good. We both had the "Slightly Stoopid" burger, which I would highly recommend if you like those flavors. I know I will be back, I just hope it's soon! I have my eye on trying 2 or 3 of their other burgers. 5 Star Food, 5 Star Service! Definitely worth a 45 minute drive to see for yourself!

This place is a must visit if you like reggae and burgers..... OUTSTANDING burgers and the different ways they make them....holy cow. The music was the icing on the cake. We went back a second time to make sure it was as good as the first time and it was even better then the first. Tots and fries are amazing as well and you can get them loaded as well. We will definitely be going back again before we leave town. Hope to try the onion rings also.

The last time I was here it was nothing like this! They had an inside board with ice cream and flavors with picnic tables outside. Now there is beautiful seating inside with a cute merch store. A dog friendly outside area plenty of seats. For being hot outside you can't tell.
To start we got the cheese curds!! Top notch. Got the ROC (ROOT OF CAPRESE) my partner got the Hang over. Plus we got a large frie. Our server Jenna C. Was so amazing always checking on us as well as friendly.

I had the shrimp chorizo tacos and OMG!!! And then the GOUDA MAC N CHEESEBITES!! I would drive from NY just got them!! SOPHISTAFUNK was playing (AWSOME) I regret not getting burger!! But was told AWSOME!! Tenders AWSOME I can’t wait to return with my daughter!! We had a ton of good between 5 of us!! Great portions!!

Great little spot for a casual lunch. Waitress was super nice and attentive. Food and drinks came out fast. I had the “Cilantro Lime Aioli Grilled Chicken Sandwich”. Absolutely delicious and the flavor was on point. My husband had the “Biker Burger” which he said one of the best he’s had. The pulled pork that topped the burger was very good. We also ordered the “Stoopid Fries” to share. Those are a must have.

I had the “Liquid Maryjane” cocktail. Very delicious. Haven’t had one in 10 years. Forgot how strong they can be 🤣. Still so delicious!

The only downside was inside is smaller and it was packed. So we had to eat outside. It was about 85° today and very sunny. Even though they have fans and a pergola, their is little to no breeze and the metal stools and table are HOT. Still will definitely return. Great little spot!

Three of us went for the first time on a Saturday evening. The vibe is really cool, you sit outside, sometimes there’s live music. We started with a round if beers. They have a great selection but the first two beers we wanted were not available, but still on the menu.

We ordered the appetizer sampler which was huge. I would not recommend doing that unless you have six people at the table. For an entree, I ordered the “dank flank” which was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and delicious.

I would love to come back and see a band.

I came back today, almost a year later. Still great service, still a great atmosphere. This time I had a dirty head which delicious. I didn’t learn my lesson from the first time, and ordered the huge appetizer sampler again. Still delicious, still too big for three people

Fun place for casual food. Ginormous burger between two melted.cheese sandwiches, so huge my guy friend took half home. Many beers and ales plus a few wines. Waitress was very polite and friendly. No salad on the menu. Good value. Outdoor seating, takeout, indoor-ish seating at a bar.

A great find for any visit to this area. Loved eating at the bar. Recommend burgers, fries, onion rings, local beers, and coffee. Will visit again. Thank You!

On the first afternoon of our getaway, we decided to try out Surfside. Parking is easy and you come in on the giant patio. The theme of this place is great especially in the fall when have the summer time blues. The service was outstanding. Very friendly prompt but not over the top. Huge menu to choose from. This was a craft burger bar so we had to get burgers. We were blown away. The drinks were on point as well. Perfect place to get lunch. Definitely recommend stopping by here.

Really cool place. So the whole restaurant is basically reggae inspired. you'll find so many different references to different songs and bands. The good is really good, so much is served especially if you order the elevator. The staff are great! Don't expect high quality dishware but do expect high quality food and drinks

Great place to have a meal. This is my second time visiting this place and it has not dissapointed. The burgers are pretty large. I have a double pattie cheeseburger and I barely finished it. The french fries are pretty good too with some sea salt seasoning that compliments them well. Try their cheese curts as well highly recommend.

A very casual but really good burger (and taco) bar. Very interesting burgers on the menu or you can "build" your own. Tacos are also interesting and good. Reggae vibe in the restaurant or a number of tables on the patio. Live music some evenings in the summer.

WOW such a beautiful place for outdoor and indoor dinner. Outdoors was beautiful plenty of seating. Family friendly. Burgers and a lot more. Full liquor bar. Live Music.

Picture this: a beach bar gets transplanted to New Hampshire near the lake. Play raggee music and serve great food. That Is what you get at Surfside. Plenty of parking. Outside seating available in the igloo. We went at night so it was too cold to sit out there. It’s very small on the inside, not many tables. Luckily we only waited 5 minutes. The service was a little slow even with only a few tables.
The food…amazing. The hamburgers are made with fresh beef from a New Hampshire farm about an hour away. I got the hangover. It comes with cheese, fried jalapeños, peppered bacon, crispy onion ring, chipotle ranch drizzle and topped with a fried egg. After ordering I got a little nervous. I’ve gotten burgers with egg on it before and they have been runny and gross. That was not the case tonight. All the ingredients complimented each other. The egg runoff mixed in perfectly with the burger. Every bite tasted better than the last. Also got a side order of fries and onion rings. The fries were very crispy and seasoned. The onion rings were almost like frizzles. Cut very thin in a circle and battered. Each would have been a great combination with the burger, luckily I had both. I’m still in town for the rest of the week. I’ll be back (Arnold Schwarzenegger voice).

Great service. Even better food. Just what we were looking for. Pricing was a bit much , which was the only downfall. A gourmet burger with no side was $18 !! The bill really added up but no other issues. Great atmosphere, beautiful flowers and outdoor seating area. We enjoyed ourselves!

Lots of gluten free options and a knowledgeable staff. Very interesting and exciting burger/sandwich options - some pretty far out there but all sounding very good - you won’t get bored here.

We got the stoopid tater tots (the fries are coated so not GF), which were amazing, and I got the peanut butter and jelly burger - jam and PB and banana on a burger. Ask them to toast your bun! I probably won’t get this one again, but it was fun to try it and was as good as it could be.

Other people in my party got other burgers and they all got good reviews. Lots of exciting drinks as well.

Busy around 6-7pm, but not a long wait to be seated.

Such a nice spot. Came here with 10 of my family members and we were all able to fit into one igloo and have everyone eat a burger. I got the “hangover” burger and it was maybe the best burger I ever had. Did not take photos but this was such a good experience. The workers there were cheerful and super helpful.

Five stars for Surf Side Burger Bar! Their food is absolutely amazing, especially the Stoopid Tacos – they're a must-try! But that's not all. The atmosphere is always buzzing, and they often feature live music. My fiance and I had the pleasure of seeing The Quasi Kings perform there last summer, and we instantly fell in love with their music. We've been listening to them non-stop ever since! Whether you're craving delicious food, great music, or both, Surf Side Burger Bar is the place to be.
