Veteran's Memorial Park

This park was everything we hope it would be... My daughter & I have visited dozens of playgrounds over the last year in 4 different states ( (2 or 3 in Bermuda even)
And if you ask her this one is her favorite so far!
The picnic area was a perfect place to start our day we were early & got a table in the shade (clutch) then hit the bathrooms that were immaculate & also had a changing table in the men's room (super clutch)
Half of our party hit the slides & swings working up a sweat while the other jumped right into the splash park! We had a blast! NJ park planners got this one right! And when we needed a lil change of pace... The beach is across the street... Not my favorite thing with it being Bayside & more rocks than sand (the only way I get in the bay is if my boat sinks)
But we enjoyed walking to the gazebo skipping perfectly formed rocks as we went!
Just remember this playground gets 5-star busy... Tables & benches fill up 5-star fast
But parking is plentiful (also clutch)

It's gorgeous here. They have fun jungle gym for the kids and a water park.

Great place to take the grandchildren. They love the spray park area. And the park is very well maintained. Just an all round nice place to spend a few hours out, especially if you have young children.

Nice kids water theme park for summer. Just opposite to Cliffwood beach. Very good place to spent a few hours. Washrooms are clean.

Great place to walk your dogs, flat and not loaded with people most mornings.

Very nice park went to watch granddaughter play softball game while there my grandson was also running around playing with other youngsters having. Very impressed clean well maintained and police patrolled unlike New York parks

Awesome playground with a summer sprayground lots of parking and easy access to bay beach across the street.

This park is spectacular for young kids/toddlers. There's three seperate play areas that are all in the shape of sail boats. Plenty of room for kids to run around and not be in each other's way. Plus a freestanding rope jungle gym that is pretty cool. Plenty of free parking and even two full court basketball courts right next to the playgrounds. I highly recommend bringing your kids here. Plus the views of the city and beach from here are amazing. A must see place if you live nearby.

I just took my 2 year old grandson to this new pirate theme/splash park. He had a wonderful time for over 2 hours of play. This park is an excellent addition to the area. I commend the town leaders for exceptional value of Sandy funds. I believe this park will increase value to the community and bring area people into your town. Well done!!!

Very nice place to walk, its water front all the way through the concrete path. I would suggest, NEVER WALK ALONE ANYWHERE. we can never tell where some sickos might be. Don't carry a pocketbook. Always carry your cell phone for safety. Be aware of your surroundings. I am a safety oriented and i want you to be safe too. I tell you all this in love, i am sure that you already practice these safety steps yourselves. I hope you like it there.

Is a very nice clean water front. The park is amazing had a Pirate playground

Clean and new. It offers attached splash ground and 2 playground allowing kids to go from the splashground to the playgrounds easily. Nice view of the water and beach for walks. Public restrooms are new and clean. Just hope it stays well maintained. Nice place!

Two good sized pirate ships and a spray park. The signage is confused. On the smaller ship area it reads designated 2-5 but the plaque on the ship reads designed for 5-12. My 4 and 8 year olds had a blast. Very cool addition to the areas play places.
