Not the most timely review, as I haven't been back in years. Back when there was opera in town, I ate here every morning before rehearsal. I feel like I owe a review because I still dream of this place as the perfect diner. Awesome food, perfectly prepared eggs, nice people....

Tom and I love to go out to breakfast. We have been to many local dinners , from Bennington VT as far as Granville NY. Can definitely say that Country Gals Cafe is the best food , prices , service and atmosphere . They also can provide me with a vegetable side@ breakfast. Most places can't. The Best; hands down.
My only wish is that they had more seating and longer hours on Sun am. 😆. & of course , I keep trying to convince them they should do dinners also. 😆

Hottest little place in Cambridge. Food is always good. Service is always good. Even get the locals to entertain you. Ps soups are on point

Classic!!! Fabulous breakfast with the friendliest folk. I'd go more often, but then I'd weigh 500 pounds. A place that attracts half of the town, fortunately not all at the same time. Small town, country charm that can't be beat!

Gotta love a restaurant or food stop that checks all the boxes. Great atmosphere, welcoming service, over the top portions and all at a affordable price.
Their specials change weekly, and are worth coming back multiple days to try a new dish or enjoy your favorite again.
The ingredients are real an sourced locally when possible because that's good quality control!
Your not going to find a better daily breakfast or lunch spot at McDonald's pricing and grandma's cook book... Country gals and you cannot go wrong.

Little crowded/parking, but this place is THEEEEEEEEE best breakfast lunch dinner in the entire Washington County area. Just watch out for old mean Jean. She will fatten you up. The Food--homade, yummy, delicious, and large portions. All I can say is go see, eat and enjoy the small world of Cambridge NY and the great food at Country Gals. Oh by the way Todd is truly one of the gals..lol. just ask him.

Super friendly staff and cozy environment! My veggie omelet was absolutely delicious and the home fries are the real deal! Our food arrived super fast and though I don’t live close by I can’t wait to come back!! Specials sounded delicious as well.

The best breakfast in the state for sure. We pull up with a dozen riders ready to eat, with a short call ahead or table is set and ready to go, they’ve even stayed open if we were running late
The menu is outstanding with new creations all the time,
They were our oasis during the pandemic with takeouts that never had a chance to get cold or soggy
During the shutdown they gave free meals to all the youngsters in town

Great food friendly people

The people who work there are super nice and welcoming. We were a family of 8 and had no problem getting a seat in the back room. Never a bad meal. We come from out of state (NJ) and my family come to this restaurant every time we vacation up here during the sunmer.

I have to get breakfast here at least once a month because the food and service is excellent! Thanks!

As always the food is great. The portions are more than the average person can eat the service is fantastic and the patrons are always very friendly and willing to give information about the local community. I highly recommend that you give country gals ( CAMBRIDGE DINNER) a try.!!!
