Hampton Gyro and Grill

Great food, a bit pricey. We all know that this a Greek place, but for the love of God, please stop playing Greek music. We get it.
Other than that, this place is great!

One of my favorite eateries in the Hamptons, and definitely the best Greek food around! A friend works at Westhampton Library and she and her coworkers would rave about this place, so I gave it a try and my expectations were exceeded! The hummus is so creamy and not too heavy on the tahini, a personal trait I really appreciate. The tzatziki sauce was some of the best I've ever had out too; it had a great garlic to creaminess ratio that's hard to find. I had a falafel gyro that was absolutely wonderful, it's my favorite thing to get there ever since. Everything was fresh and came with plenty of sides. My father had a lamb gyro, my sister had a beef gyro, and we all shared a classic Greek salad. There were plenty of leftovers and we loved the fresh ingredients in everything. The menu is expensive and reasonable, we can't wait to go back to try more!

Luckily, just a half mile west of the Sunrise Highway Exit in Hampton Bays, we came upon the Hampton Gyro and Grille on Montauk highway. ONE WORD - WOW! Maybe two WOW-WOW. Owner Mike and his team opened at the end of last September. His black t-shirt clad staff contribute significantly to the secret of his success. Working together as a top cruise line, they turned around our meal in such a quick time, and every item was cooked flawlessly. But, the number one reason is the food.
Simply put, it was delicious and flavorful. Offering both traditional Greek and American favorites, tonight we opted for the Greek menu. For starters, we tried the Olive Hummus and Spinach Pie. The hummus was ultra creamy and served with toasted pitas. The Spinach Pie with golden crispy pastry was a savory delight. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Classic Gyro and Gyro Platter. The tzatziki sauce was tasty and light and accompanied both selections. The platter also has a Greek Salad and rice, (could also have fries). Not yet open even a year, Mike has grand plans to help accommodate the seasonal swells. Seating more than 50 patrons now, keep your eyes on the Tiana Shopping Plaza as you pass by (when not dining) here for a row of pretty umbrellas he hopes to put out. Mike has another success on his hands! So do stop in soon, enjoy dining inside and put their take-home menu in your pocket. Keep it handy as you are sure to use it!

U know u have made it when u can afford a 20$ lamb over salad. But don't forget to ask them to cut the lamb or u will get a picaso looking salad that u need to cut up

Everyone here is super friendly. I eat here often and their food is all great.

My top recommendations:
I rarely find truly crispy buffalo wings, but this place makes them that way. Properly crispy and delicious. Better than 99% of wing places.
Their falafels are great.
Burgers are great, too.

Hands down the best GYRO I’ve had on Long Island. Everything was super fresh. 10/10 highly recommended! Definitely going back.

Very good generous salad and other dishes. Really worth it.

First time it the Hampton Gyro and Grill. I ordered a chicken Souvlaki platter and thought it was good. The platter had a good portion of chicken that was moist and tasty. A small side salad and pita bread was also included. I love the fact its easy in and easy out. I will be going there again in the near future. The atmosphere is of a very nice fast food place. Very friendly host.

So this is what I ordered for lunch and had some left over for dinner let me tell you when I say delicious. OMG food is always fresh and the staff is always nice. It dont get no better then that! I have dubbed this my favorite place for lunch you have to go if you are in the area you wont be disappointed.

Food is a little pricey but the portions are large and the food is delicious!!

Really good fresh food well prepared. Generous portions on their salads and sandwiches. They used to strain their own yogurt and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. I'm hoping that we turn it to the menu just really delicious. Good place.

One of my absolute favorite spots for lunch, the freshness of the vegetables in the Greek salad is unmatched, the staff goes above and beyond to be kind and gives great customer service. The owners are Greek so you can really get the feel for the authenticity of the food! 10/10! Great addition to Hampton Bays!

We have been going consistently since they opened. i have had Greek food from all over the island. Nothing compares to the food, service, cleanliness, The sweetest staff, always with a smile no matter how busy they are. Thank God Hampton Bays has this great addition of different cuisine!

I was hesitant to go to this establishment because I assumed it was going to be a similar experience to the previous tenant - a horrific Mexican fast food restaurant. But it was a cold rainy day in June so I thought I would give it one chance. And I’m so glad I did.
Hampton gyro is CLEAN. Plus the food was fresh - had a delicious Greek salad with chicken. Grape leaves were delicious and fresh. French fries hot and crispy. Desert delicious too. I’m so glad to have a reasonably priced option with fresh and healthy ingredients. And it’s not a chain! Highly recommended and let’s support a local restaurant with great food and a fair price!!
