I found a recipe for lamb chops from Kinderhook Farm on the Hudson Connection Facebook page, which brought me to visit their beautiful farm store. I have been back several times since, and each time I go I find the person at the counter to be friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great cooking advice for any meat they sell- which is an astounding variety. Don’t miss an opportunity to visit here.

Great farm stay! Lots of animals to look at. The geese stroll around like they own the place ;) the staff are very knowledgeable and so helpful. Lots of interactive activities. The farmstay itself is a converted barn, very modern. If you go during colder weather keep in mind that the building doesn't have insulation. Beds are warm and comfy but pack for cold weather!

Visiting Kinderhook Farm was a blast.

Coming from NYC, it was a great experience.

It's so spacious, clear and an obvious sense of tranquility.

With that the only busy-ness are seeing the various animals and an occasional "baa" from the sheeps.

We were greeted by a warm, kind and gentle lady. Lovely person. She gave our party a tour of sorts and explained farm things we city folk did not know.

As a bonus we marveled at some ancient Native American artifacts collected by this gentleman who also works in the farm. He explained the smalls details of how he goes about searching for artifacts.

They are warm people.

Lastly, we took home various meats.
They are great!
We plan to comeback to replenish our meat supply.
We worth the trip.

Highly recommend to visit.

Great farm, great people! The farm is beautiful, the animals are beautiful, it's a great place to visit. The meat and eggs sold there are delicious and healthy. It's amazing to be able to eat food when you can see where it has been raised, and you know that it's done in a kind and sustainable manner. I highly recommend this farm - it's a must see if you're in Columbia County, NY.

A pleasant working farm. I travelled there to pick up beef suet and shank bones so that I could try some 18th Century recipes. I emailed the store ahead of time and they had my order all packaged and ready to go when I arrived. The drive was along some pleasant country roads. There's even a small airport within an easy walk for small plane owners to take the direct route. If my cooking works out, I'll be a regular customer even though it's a 90 minute drive for me.

Excellent place for a family visit. Highly recommend their farm store for pasture raised beef, lamb, pork, chicken, ducks and eggs.

Our friends who live in the area took us to this farm to buy what they considered to be the best eggs in Hudson Valley! They also have incredible meat which they sell to some of the nicest butchers in Brooklyn New York where I'm from. We bought some breakfast sausages! we had a great time wandering around the property exploring the veggie garden, hanging out with the geese, watching the chickens -- they have the most incredible collection of chickens who were grazing under a canopy of gigantic sunflowers -- and chatting with the farmers. There's also cows, and sheep and pigs! It's a 1000 acre farm so there's plenty to look at. Be sure to stop at the shop and buy lots of things!

Phenomenal eggs. But, like, phenomenal. These are the best eggs I’ve ever had. Everyone who has these eggs says, “What’s the deal with these eggs? They’re amazing.” Sometimes they actually limit how many I can buy, which is annoying but understandable. Anyway, I will never eat supermarket eggs again. Ever.

We do the farm stay every year...it's expensive but worth it. It's such an authentic experience. The food is wonderful and the people who run the farm are a delight- down to earth, knowledgable, and kind.

Two bone in sirloins, hog jowl bacon, and a pork butt. Flavors were outstanding with everything. One of the best steaks I've ever had.

Awesome place to get fresh all-natural grass-fed and finished beef and the bacon is absolutely out of this world I'm not too sure what else they offer but I know the one side had a meat house which had everything that you could want to eat in it and the lady that came was very helpful and letting me know whenever you get their next shipment of certain things that they were out of 💪👍👍
